  1. Ex-Broncos RB Travis Henry was jailed again Tuesday, this time for contempt of court. Henry is on trial in Florida, facing federal drug charges involving a cocaine transaction. He also has legal troubles in Georgia where his $3,000 monthly child support order is causing problems. Source: ProFootballTalk What a freaking dimwit. It doesn't say what he did but criminy dude what's wrong with you?
  2. Now that I think about it who would want to ruff up McGruff. There's no bones about it. I findo this appalling. It really bites. I hope the driver was chewed out and they have the balls to give him a lickin! This really rubs my ass the wrong way across the carpet! I think he should have to clean fire hydrants for public service. Why a shepard in Germany wouldn't ever do this to McGruff and neither would a boxer. I bet this really offended St. Bernard and I hope the guy who hit McGruff wasn't a husky guy. Personally I think hitting him was a bunch of bull. Dogs shouldn't be treated like this. I hope he Rot Weiler in jail. Beerball should but not dogs.
  3. Brim later told a supervisor he was trying to be funny when he punched McGruff, who urges kids to "take a bite out of crime." "But nobody here finds it funny, believe me," Metro spokeswoman Candace Smith said. "That kind of behavior is not tolerated." The sickest thing is that I do find it funny!
  4. Tony Scheffler-TE- Broncos Mar. 4 - 8:36 am et The Denver Post confirms the Broncos have been shopping TE Tony Scheffler. Scheffler's skills aren't a great fit for Josh McDaniels' offense that uses three wide receivers and a blocking tight end (Daniel Graham). Even in a potentially explosive offense, Scheffler's value would take a hit if he stays in Denver. His best fit would be in a West Coast offense with two tight ends. Source: Denver Post Related: Daniel Graham Scheffler on trade block. The Broncos have been shopping Tony Scheffler. Scheffler, 26, is considered one of the NFL's best receivers at tight end — his average of 16.1 yards per catch led all players at his position with at least 40 receptions last year. However, there is concern Scheffler might not fit in the New England offensive system that new coach Josh McDaniels has brought with him to Denver. New England's offense usually lines up with three wide receivers and one tight end. The Broncos already have the prototype New England-style tight end in Daniel Graham, who played for the Patriots from 2002-06. Graham left New England for free agency in part because the Pats rarely use the tight end in their passing game. The most logical destinations for Scheffler are teams that operate the West Coast offense, which often uses a second tight end in the game. The Philadelphia Eagles have the most prominent West Coast offense.

  6. McDonald's statement: "Satisfying each and every customer that visits our restaurants is very important to us. Regarding this isolated incident, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. In the event that we are unable to fill an order, a customer should be offered the choice of a full refund or alternative menu items. We regret that in this instance, that wasn't the case. We want to correct our mistake. We will be sending the customer her refund, along with an Arch card for a complimentary meal on us. We never want to disappoint a McNuggets fan or any McDonald's customer. Customer satisfaction is our top priority." Carlos Solorzano McDonald's Operations Manager Florida Region He was a character witness for the Hamburgler but he still got the chair.
  7. Man WR seems to be really hit or miss. No wonder teams lock up WR's when they get great ones.
  8. You'd think the season was starting tomorrow. Most teams haven't signed more guys than the Bills have. FA is weak this year and a lot of guys are getting more than they deserve, a lot more. I still wanted Jabari Back but you're right. Ashton looks really good when he plays unfortunately he's too brittle to be counted on.
  9. I'll be happy to see either one report it.
  10. Oops! I forgot that but they could have asked him to contact friends on that team to see what they thought.
  11. Yep it's been called off. If they haven't survived, which seems likely, I hope at least their bodies are found to give their family closure. I think this got a lot of media attention just because it was two NFL players and hopefully at least a few people have learned a lesson from this.
  12. She could have ordered the 20 piece. You don't know, you weren't there!!!
  13. I'd never do that because I can never remember the phone number to 911.
  14. I'm pretty sure Stroud was consulted before this signing about DF's character in Jacksonville.
  15. Thanks Tim, as always kudos! Link Damn YOU!!! (shaking fist) beat me to it!!!!!!!!!!! Tim writes for ESPN. If you read it in an ESPN article would you believe it because that's where it's coming from. Tim just cut out the middle man for us.
  16. IIRC, Buffalo tore up his first contract and gave him a raise without his publicly asking for it.
  17. How much does the guy who does the same job as you at any other company make? Do they print it up for you so you can see. What if you found out some guy who sucks at his job is making 3 times more than you and everybody knows you're a better worker. You're tied into a contract that pays you a lot less for the next three years. I think you'd let your boss know about it. Peters got very bad advice from his agent last year but this is a new year. I don't give a crap what anybody says LT is an extremely important part of the offense. Particularly when your QB is brittle. Fantasy?
  18. Duke Preston-C- Bills Mar. 3 - 6:25 pm et The Raiders are reportedly visiting with free agent OL Duke Preston. Preston became expendable to the Bills when they signed Geoff Hangartner. A fourth-round draft choice in 2005, Preston made 11 starts last season. Source: Oakland Tribune Related: Raiders That Al Davis is one saavy football guy he is!
  19. Mike Peterson | #54 | MLB Jacksonville Jaguars | Official Team Site Height: 6-1 Weight: 238 Age: 32 Born: 6/17/1976 Gainesville , FL College: Florida Experience: 10th season High School: Santa Fe HS [Alachua, FL] 84 tackles, 1 sack, FF - 0, Int - 0 I like him better than Cato June.
  20. He could barely play in warm weather. Playing in the cold in college isn't that much of a help.
  21. Hopefully they're looking at him as a depth guy.
  22. Cato June | #59 | OLB Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Official Team Site Height: 6-0 Weight: 227 Age: 29 Born: 11/18/1979 Riverside , CA College: Michigan Experience: 6th season High School: Anacostia HS [Washington, DC] 67 tackles, sacks - 0, FF - 0, Int. - 1 16 games 14 starts. IMO, nothing to write home about.
  23. Here's another article.
  24. The only one I found offensive was the one of my mother!
