I forget who wrote about it but I read recently that the whole idea of a line jelling is greatly overrated. The person who wrote the article said as long as each lineman knows his assignment the line will function well. Bell is an upgrade over Walker and since he's young he should only improve as time goes on, JMO.

When he was hired I was underwhelmed. He is probably the most overrated QB coach in the league. I've never understood the love for that guy. I was hoping he'd be a better OC but obviously that never happened. Exactly. IIRC, Jauron wanted him to simplify the offense. I can imagine that too many complex plays isn't good for a young QB. As you said some great offenses just simplify things and hopefully that will work for Buffalo. (fingers crossed)

I think the Raiders will unleash McFadden this year. In one of my leagues I managed to get him in the 15th round. So my RB corp is Clinton Portis, Thomas Jones, Darren McFadden, Darren Sproles and Jerious Norwood. (points are awarded for kick/punt returns and the last two have serious value in that league.) I would start McFadden this week and see what happens. They didn't draft him that high to not use as a starter. JMO Tom Cable was fired after being interim HC and was criticized for not using McFadden more than he did.
