  3. What they said! I think the sticking point may have been his contract.
  4. They aren't too pricey. I have two. This does bring up a question for me. How long until all wars are completely automated? Remote controlled armaments bombing automated factories making automated armaments. Sort of like playing quarters.
  5. Hey Tim, can you give us the latest on the Bell injury, please?
  6. I would really like to see Bell move in as starting LT but his back injury really concerns me. It seems that back injuries can plague a player for his entire career. So I'm interested if anyone knows the severity of this injury and his time frame for getting back. He injured it August 24th and I haven't heard about him practicing or any more info on his injury since then. It's been almost two weeks and that doesn't look good to me.
  7. Meh! It's the Lions. The former second rounder was probably a Millen pick. I also fault them for drafting a guy named Cletis.
  8. Big deal. There have been Heisman trophy winning QB's that weren't drafted until the final rounds. I guess I'll just give in. You do know more than all of the 32 teams scouting departments. Write up scouting reports on GH and JS and send them out. I'm sure some team will hire you quickly.
  9. Shouldn't he be able to handle guys one on one as a pro bowl LT? I think this part of the article proves your point; Peters' missed some time in his first Eagles training camp. He was sidelined by a thigh injury during the conditioning test on day one... He was an UFA in 2004 that the Bills picked up and put on the PS before pulling him up to the active roster in Nov. of that year. It was after week 7 in 2007 that he became the starting LT for Buffalo. So his math is waaaaaaayyyyyy off. Of course it was obvious his math way off when he was in contract negotiations. JMO I do. I wanna see him fail.
  10. Yes, but the Pets* and every other team pay attention to every player in training camps. They're not allowed to attend other teams training camps but they watch game film. Every team has a scout or scout's dedicated to evaluating every player in every camp. They have scouts during the regular season watching other teams players too. They are prepared for any eventuality.
  11. Ok, when I pointed out he's starting quality it didn't mean he would be picked up as a starter. Nobody picked him up for backup duty either. If he's starting material then he should definitely be backup material. You could be right about 32 teams knowing less than you do about players but I think that's funny! What's astounding about your comment on the Pets* liking him is that they didn't pick him up. Think about it.
  12. The actual PS squad; LB Alvin Bowen, RB Bruce Hall, DB Cary Harris, WR C.J. Hawthorne, OL Nick Hennessey, WR Felton Huggins, DT Corey Mace TE Jonathan Stupar. My guesses; PS - (TE) Stupar, (C ) Rodd, (WR) Hawthorne, (C ) Gaddis, (TE) DeVree, (DE) Mace, (LB) Buggs, (CB) Harris 50%
  13. If that's all true and she just excessively exaggerated the facts then this nothing.
  14. Congrats! Make sure to get that kid into Bills clothing ASAP!! A friend's family is chock full of Bills fans and somehow his demon spawn became a, a....a...umm Poorpiss fan!
  15. Do ya' think TIND that it's possible NFL front office people know a lot more about these things than we do? If Stupar is starting material then how could he have possibly made it through waivers? Astounding, just astounding.
  16. That's odd. Stupar made it through waivers and got to the practice squad and yet he's a starting caliber TE! How'd that happen? Maybe the guys who run scouting departments know more about these things than fans do.
  17. You should apply for a job in talent evaluation for NFL teams. What he said. Hopefully the next HC will be a big name.
  18. I agree with almost everything you've said there. I'm not sure bringing in the west coast offense will solve much. Schemes don't really matter much to me. It's successful execution of plays. Also, Walsh called Levy after the draft to tell him they had drafted a great QB. I also think the "click" hasn't happened for TE yet but it's right around the corner. By the "click" I mean the moment that it all becomes second nature.
  19. Pets are like children. People that have never owned a pet just don't understand that. Hopefully the little bugger will be ok. BTW, this chicken festival thing isn't held in a town like the one in Deliverance is it? You do know that's Deerball you're complimenting right? Think twice next time.
  20. I agree with that.
  21. Best to just ignore him. IMO
  22. Link YOU!
  23. GD, that's gonna give the Pets a top 5 pick in 2011!
