Hey maybe you could trade Parrish, Kelsay, 28, and next years 6th to Detroit for 20 you'd have a pretty good chance of getting Pettigrew or Ayers there.
The thing is the Bills did the best they could given the situation- but they created the situation a year and a half ago- that's when they shot the gun it's just that the bullet didn't hit their foot until now.
Am I the only one who thinks it's crazy to have Walker my 375lb OT go against 245-265lb cat quick DEs and Bell my very Athletic but somewhat strength deficit OT go against Power DEs
I seen anywhere from 5th to priority free agent- and seen him listed as anywhere from the 17th to 23 best OT- so I guess if there is a run on tackles he could go in the forth but I don't think it's a sure thing
Bills trade Parrish or the pick we get from him and a draft pick next year for Tony Sheffler TE
1a Michael Oher OG/OT
1b Peria Jerry DT
2. Jarron Gilbert DE/DT
3. Lawrence Sidbury DE
4. Mike Thomas WR/PR
4. T.J. Lang OG
5. Zack Follett LB
6. Anthony Hill TE
7. Joel Bell OT
Andre Smith 35inch
Michael Oher 33.5 inch
Peters 33.125 inch
Eben Britton 32.75 inch
Boy I wish some people would do there homework before they wall bash
You really hope that A. Smith or M Oher drop to 11 you grab them and they compete with Bell and Chambers for LT whoever wins LT the other two then compete for LG.
Peters wasn't the Best LT in the NFL but he was top 5- as for all the people who thought the hardball was the way to go and that the Bills had all the leverage- you're just not very bright- this could have been handled to everyone's satisfaction last year if the Bills would have been pro-active- the Bills think it's all business and it is, it's show business - if the bills want to play hardball they better get out of the football business and open a steel plant or something because show business is all about keeping the talent happy.
If Andre Smith or Micheal Oher are Available you go there first if not you hope a defender like Raji or Tyson Jackson is there and that the Gods have smiled on Bell.
The compensation is pretty poor. the 28 pick is probably not going to contribute the first year and is a fifty-fifty shot to be above average- Philly's 4th is crap- unless next years is a 1st if Peters make another Pro bowl, we were bent over and raped.
Let's see, Peters 340 LT, Shawn. Andrews 335 LG, Nick Cole 350 C, Max Jene-Gile 358 RG, Stacy Andrews 344 RT plus they are going after Pettigrew at 21- if You are A DL you better take your lunch when you play Philly.
Hi Tim - a question about how Demetrius Bell's strength and conditioning is going- Bell had some nice athletic qualities but strength issues (10 bench reps) certainly was one reason he was a 7th rounder.
