  1. unknown, he played before fully healthy- which cracks me up because they want you to be a man and play injured but if you do they hold it against you- but I don't think you could go wrong taking this kid with a 7th round pick.
  2. Hi Romeo- a couple things- If you title something " Peyton Manning, his career inching toward the end " then shouldn't the article be about how his career is inching towards the end?? but your article is only a little bit about Peyton Manning and you have his career going any where from 4-10 years longer- I'm going to give you two better titles for your article. 1. "Peyton Manning and other QBs, their careers inching towards the end or maybe not, who the F knows certainly not me" 2. " I like turtles "
  3. exactly right I would agree with people who say there is no sure thing franchise type players - more like 15 really really good players then about 25 really good players, and about 40 pretty good players- the only two players who were in the top ten every mock were Jason Smith, and Eugene Monroe- Curry was out of the top ten just once.
  4. I also like Lawrence Sidbury- I don't think he plays to his timed speed but he weighs 266 without looking fat or bulked up meaning he could put on more weight without hurting his quickness and he has very long arms (35in) - I see him as a pass rush specialist for his first year then coming back next year in the mid 270s and challenging for the RDE spot- I'd really like him with our second pick.
  5. I've seen Hulk move in the ring, in a fight my money's on the wife.
  6. Boy I don't think I could hate an outcome more.
  7. contracts are often reopened after players make pro-bowls
  8. Who Knows I saw one draft where Curry slides down to us- I'm rooting for for the teams ahead of us to take QBs, WRs DBs, and RBs- I saw one draft where Stafford, Sanchez, Freeman , Crabtree, Macklin, Jenkins and Wells were all taken in the top ten + Curry, J Smith, E Monroe- which basically gave us the choice of Raji, A. Smith, M Oher, Orakpo, Tyson Jackson, E Brown and anything else- of course I've seen other mocks where most of the Players I want are gone.
  9. I doubt it - half these players are little boys looking for approval that they didn't get from their daddy or something- money is just a way of keeping score- I guarantee you that Parker is telling Peters that he's the greatest and stroking his ego daily, not because he cares about Peters in anyway but because it's good business, people on this board think of fawning praise as weakness, it's not, it's manipulation- who do you think has the power in the Peters - Parker relationship (btw does any one but me think this whole Peters Parker thing is funny, well do you Spiderman ) it's Parker even though he's kissing Peters a$$. Now if the Bills were smart they could have wedged themselves in and reduce Parker's influence- but playing hardball they just allowed Parker to have greater influence " Aww Jason are those mean Buffalo Bills picking on you" "Jason you are the best LT ever and I'm going to make sure you are paid like it" blah blah blah.
  10. The Bills want to keep Peters- they are not going to give him away- but if a team offers fair value then they are going to trade him- The Bills have now offered Peters a fair contract but Peters now seems to be trying to Price himself off the Bills- in my opinion the Bills should have come to Peters right after he was announced for his first pro-bowl, stroked his ego, give him a pay increase and incentives to make more, but it seems the Bills FO also want their Egos strokes which is very immature and to me just stupid business- and they are paying for it now.
  11. Makes perfect sense to me- Green bay needs DL to fit a 3-4 so they can't really drop down too much as the number of personnel that fit there is small, San Fran could use a QB so you can't trade to 11 unless you really want Josh Freeman which is a possibility as he has been moving up as of late. It would be great for the Bills if 3QBs, 2WRs, 1CB and a RB went in the top ten
  12. Who the hell would have thought of him
  13. I'd rather keep Peters but at this point I think trading him is more likely- and I'm sort of leaning towards Detroit as being the trading partner, they can give pick 20 and their 3rd for Peters, so basically giving away Roy Williams for Jason Peters, no one can call that a bad deal- I really like option D except maybe for Eric Woods.
  14. My point was even without Peters we may be able to break even or do a little better on offense as opposed to last year- I don't know if anyone tried to make the case for resigning Peters more than me (except for Mickey of course) but if he can't meet the Bills at 9.5mil a year, well I can't make that case anymore- 9.5 is good faith, it's top five LT money and that's what Jason Peters is a Top 5 OT, what he's not is the best OT in the NFL, I think the whole thing was handled badly by both sides from the beginning and bridges were burnt.
  15. I would prefer that Peters be resigned but, check this out, say Andre Smith is there at 11 we take him then trade Peters to Detroit for pick 20 and their 3rd rd - with 20 we take Pettigrew- so which would you rather have - Peters LT, Dockery LG, Fowler C, Royal TE or Bell LT, Andre Smith LG, Hangartner C, Pettigrew TE
  16. Bruce smith weighed 300 for a very short period of time- he was down to 285 by his second season and 275 his third, he played at 275 for 2-3 seasons and eventually dropped to 265-260.
  17. This was before the draft that's why Vernon Davis is being mentioned- and as a Ngata fan I know there was a large constituency for Bunkley- because it was a running argument on this board.
  18. I'd like to see McCargo look in shape one season, somethings wrong with his workouts or his diet, in 2007 he did show flashes of his ability to disrupt with quickness.
  19. For the sake of historical accuracy I must say that it was a 60% to 40% split in favor of Brodrick Bunkley over Ngata, I liked Ngata and was frequently assaulted with " He's too big, fat and slow to play in a Tampa 2 defense" - there was also a smattering of love for Vernon Davis and Jay Cutler- and I'm proud of the fact that there was the opposite of love for Matt Leinart which shows that TSW isn't totally stupid.
  20. I think the Bills might wait until they see if Andre Smith or Michael Oher are there at 11 before trading Peters- I'd want Detroit's picks at 20, and 33 for Peters and whatever we get for Parrish or Parrish himself, Parrish might make a pretty good WR opposite C. Johnson.
  21. If we don't trade Peters I have the Bills getting Chris Baker DT in the 4th rd, If we trade Peters I have us getting Fili Moala DT with Detroit's 3rd rd pick- another thought is we might wait until after the draft and make an offer to KC for Glenn Dorsey like next years 1st.
  22. Well they tased a five year old girl in Florida because she was acting up in school - in Oakland the cop merely wanted to tase the guy cuffed lying on his stomach and oops he shot him- and review- please!!- unless a cop makes a mistake with someone with clout, he's golden.
  23. Bust is harsh and uncalled for, Bust sounds like it's Donte's bad , he's not a superstar- this was the Bills FO bad, one of many- My opinion for years has been if you go against what the consensus of the scouts opinion on a player is, you should be glossed as either a genius or a moron. 1. Mike Williams - Scouts consensus good run blocker, didn't show he could pass block, weight issues- rated the second or third best OT behind Bryant McKinnie, and in a few reports Levy Jones 2. McCargo -rated a 3rd or 4th rounder by most Scouts- does immature, injury prone, and not stout, surprise you. 3. McGahee - Tommy D wanted to prove how smart he was - Greg Williams should have punched in the face- Greg Williams was Fighting for his coaching life and Tommy D takes a guy with a first round pick that won't even play his first year. 4. Donte -Bills take a solid player at a non-premium position- Donte was rated as a bottom of the 1st rd top of the 2nd rd pick, it's not his fault he was taken with the 11th pick. for those four against the grain type picks I gloss them as morons- help me to remember when they took a guy high against the consensus of scouts opinion and that guy turned into a superstar.
  24. I wouldn't take Pettigrew at 11 but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want him on my team- If I was running a offense I'd want 2 game breakers and three grinders - Evans and T.O. are game breakers so I'd be very happy with Lynch, Pettigrew, and Reed as my grinders.
