I don't think your reasoning is correct. This guy likes under sized linebackers and doesn't like to blitz often. He uses his two DT to push up the middle and do nothing else and attacks the QB with the 2 ends. This guy is run stop first. Plays man to man coverage. aka.... his style works great in a run dominated league. Which is ok for us because we play the Jets and Pats. Jets love to run, and Pats also like to run. However, this guy is NOT good for a passing league. That's why his recent years he's struggled a lot. He gets killed in a passing happy league which is what we have today. Won't take Ryan and Belly long to figure this guy out and attack us via the air and own us. Bates = disaster hire.

Agreed. They need Peters signed. It's as simple as that. He's one of the best lineman in the league but always starts off a bit slow. I hope this isn't a complete wash of a season for him because he's missed the entire training camp, but we're a better team with Peters then without. It's really that simple.

I didn't see too many games, but their QB always had alot of time in the pocket and their line always made holes for the Rbs, which doesn't mean much, because recrutiing is much different system then in the NFL but the guy must know something. wow, that was totally out of left field. Good for him. I'm glad Lofton finally got a chance and i hope he does well. He has a real big mess but if he somehow fixes their problems, he might be called the next genius coach. But.... the downside is like someone said, he might never get another chance if he has major stuggles. But i think he'll be just fine.
