  1. Yeah, i turned to my buddy and was like OMG did you see that? Spikes went to push Henry out of bounce, and Henry got 3 yards of it with a stiff arm. The old Spikes would have nailed Henry for a no-to -1 yard on that play. But also, many plays in the game where they went after Spikes and he was pushed off or was too slow to get it to. He also had a few missed tackles. Very disappointing to watch because i love Spikes so much and i know he's playing hurt but for his money he is not worth it for our team who is ready to make the turn to being a playoff team.
  2. BS. I am not saying we should have went for a FG so don't get me wrong, but the confussion on 3rd and 4th down is what caused us the game. Losman was clueless looking for direction to the sidelines, Juaron had no idea, the offense was confussed. Losman was in shutgun for 3rd and 4th down plays. The play calling was off. After the 3rd down, Lindell looked like he didn't know what was going on and Losman definetly didn't know if they were going for FG or go for it. Jauron lost control of the game for a few minutes and it cost us the season. I personally would have went for it also, but with better plays and letting my offense know that they MUST get a 1st down or it's game over. It seemed very hectic on the field.
  3. So according to King, we'll only need to beat Baltimore and hope Cincy and the jax lose in the final weekend and we're golden!
  4. Like someone above me said, im also not worried about his arm. We did a good job on Mike Vick last year in the air, but, he killed us on the ground. Had like 65 yards on 10 runs, but when it mattered most, he got the yardage he needed. Huge game for the linebackers and for Hargrave this week.
  5. hahaha good vid guys! check this out, my personal favorite... Jim Rome gets owned!
  6. I agree with everyone here, i think our defense has played awesome, our special teams have been very good, Evans has been great, and the Oline has played much better, but we wouldn't be 7-7 and a possible playoff team if it wasn't for JP Losman. The kid has proved so many people wrong. I hope he keeps it going.
  7. Denver definetly will be hard to stop. JR and AI at guards will make them look like the Suns, with Melo at forward. And with defenses focusing so much on those 3, Camby's numbers will increase to Ben Wallace status. However, the thing that may kill the Nuggets is depth. With Martin out, they pretty much only have Nene on the bench, and he isn't that good or even reliable. Melo and JR getting hurt IMO helps denver because it will increase much minutes for Diawara and Kleiza and both need to develop very fast in order to make them a contender for the title.
  8. I tried to be slick and buy my girlfriend a Pominville home jersey, found a guy on ebay and we talked thru email cuz he said that would be the quickest way, promiced me i'd get the jersey in time for christmas and i send him the cash thru mail...... now he doesnt anwser my emails or anything. To make a long story short, might as well wait and buy it from legit sources then trying to out-do the system and buy it from an outside source and get screwed $180. I got her lot of stuff anyways but i really wish i had the jersey. So i went to the team store and was gonna buy a Pominville medium shirt, and they were sold out so i had to get her a large. This xmas isn't on my side.
  9. I strongly disagree. It's Christmas eve for gods sake. The last time Buffalo hosted a Sunday Christmas Eve game was in 1995. Looking at my Bills media book, going into that last game on xmas eve vs. Houston, our record was 10-5. Sure, we were looking decent for the playoffs, but if i remember correctly, nothing was a lock, esspicially to host the home wildcard game. Our average attendence that season was 72,000. The attendence vs. Houston was 45,253. And that was with an awesome team, thinking they need a win to make it to host the wildcard game. Many teams stuggled at the game that day around the league. And despite many large attendences around the league this sunday, many stadiums will be half-empty. Some teams have very high season ticket sales so "paid attendence" will be marked as high. But look around the league and you'll see many empty seats. Buffalo isn't the only city.
  10. Evans has 4 less yards then Johnson, but like 17 less catches. Also one more TD. Besides, how many of his yards are "garbage" time yards? Obviously when you're team stinks you'll have to air it out in the 2nd half. I'm really interested to see how many yards Johnson has in games their losing in the 2nd half.
  11. Very nice. I was hoping for Lee Evans as well. Oh well.
  12. Yup. Howard Simon started off today's show saying exactly that. No matter what happens this week or next week, this season is a success. We're in a rebuilding season, with a new GM, new coach and a new qb that noone liked, and are talking about the playoffs on December 19th. Pretty incredible.
  13. I think we can all agree that the road to the playoffs isn't impossible, but i wouldn't get cought up in all the talk. Lets beat Tennessee on Sunday then hope for the best, wake up Tuesday morning and see where we stand. We might be the front runners or we might be in some deep sh--. lol
  14. Don't know bout a blackout or not... but i just bought tickets in 103, row 7!!! I sold my season tix seats to my friends, and bought seats with more friends closer to the field for this big game!!
  15. At worst case senerio, Youboty would be playing and i think he's gonna be a very good defensive back. But, seriously, i doubt Clements leaves. Browns really want him but i doubt he leaves esspicially with our organization going up and looking really strong for next season.
  16. Big Sabres game on Saturday night means more focus is on them, people could careless about the Bills. Not many people are diehards and can commit saturday night to all hockey and all day sunday to all football. And if people had to pick, they'd prefer watching Sabres/Ottawa at a bar, friends house or at home then spending the money and going to Ralph Wilson Stadium.
  17. just watched it. great stuff. Its always awesome to see it. Brings back many memories!
  18. Can you say bandwagon.... ??? jeez man. Who do you like in baseball? The St Louis Cardinals?
  19. Welcome to the year 2006. Everyone faces that problem.
  20. Yeah and when the Bills are great, 10,000 people who would dream of being there can't be.... genius marketing plan man!
  21. Sucks for him to never see the Bills live again. What a peice of sh-- guy. Hope he likes life in Canada.
