  1. Then next New years you can post a similar thread and explaining to us how we are sopposed to fix the pass defense since teams will be passing like crazy on us.
  2. yeah but let's be fair, Jarrett has much more skills and much better hands then Stovall. And please, never compare Jarrett to Martin Nance again. Jarrett reminds me of a Plixico Burress.
  3. I'd definetly give it a look for Aaron Smith, although i agree with the poster above, but i think if a guy like Aaron Smith is in our price range we definetly need to look into it, he is an up and coming player. And a upgrade over Kelsay or Denney. I don't know how much he will demand. On Ian Scott... why?? That's like getting another Larry Tripplett. I like Tripplett but people bash me for saying that Tripplett is solid and unless we make a huge spash like a huge FA or high draft pick, i don't think we should really go after DT help but a guy like Ian Scott wouldn't really solve much. The guy is a backup like Tripplett was and Tripplett was a better backup for the Colts then Scott is for the Bears. And he plays for the Bears, who have an outstanding defensive line. Stay away from Scott.... hopefully Levy won't do that mistake.
  4. Definetly. We have too many needs to be going to upgrade the FB position. He is a late 1st, early 2nd round pick, but it'd be very useless of us to select him with our pick with the type of players available for us to take.
  5. I don't think Bills want games at night at home but some times it's too hard to say no. We had Denver last year on a night game and next season we host NYG, Dallas and Cincy, it's gonna be very hard for one of those not to be at night. Bills are gaining much respect and those 3 are teams they love to show on primetime.
  6. I like that site the best.... atleast i did. Why do they keep on leaving Jamarcus Russell as the guy for the Bills? It's like 3 stright updated mock drafts they have him going to Buffalo. It's obvious we are not going to pick a QB in the draft. What are they thinking??
  7. Awesome post. I don't know what our record will be in 2007, and i'm not ready to predict like some people are. We have a very tuff schedule next season, so it's gonna be hard but we'll be a very improved team that could have won 9-10 games this season like you mentioned.
  8. I wouldn't argue drafting a DT in the first round so i will go with you there. I just thought you meant go do whatever we can to bring in a top DT in free agency, which i would disagree on. But, last year we picked McCargo, he hasn't turned out into anything special and in my personal opinion i think it was a mistake to pick him, but Bills saw something in him to take him, i think it's too easy to jus give up on him and go and use another first rounder for DT. I know last year alot of people wanted Mathias Kiwanuka instead of McCargo... lol how many people wish we had taken him instead? lol
  9. I totally agree. I don't blame him for not kicking the FG, but he definetly ruined the drive. Losman in shutgun on 3rd down? And then on 4th down the entire offense was hectic and Lindell didn't know wtf was going on, Jauron lost control and i think got clueless for a few minutes too. I think he's done a great job and Mike Ditka even said on espnews that he would never second doubt Jauron on anything, he said that Jauron is one of the smartest guys in football... so i definetly don't disagree with him on not kicking, but i think he could have handled the last drive a bit better and had the offense more ready for the final 2 plays to get the 5 yards.
  10. Like i posted somewhere else, i wouldn't spend too much on a guard , it's a very easy position to fill deep in the draft. DT... yeah but there isn't too many. Rod Coleman and Hollis Thomas stand out, but there isn't much more in that market who would be almost guarentees to do a better job then Tripplett, McCargo or Williams.
  11. I don't know, i'm guessing you may have looked into yet but i havn't (i havn't seem or heard anything football since the end of the bills game on the drive home from wgr... i even told my friends not to talk to me bout football til tuesday) so i may be way off... but my guess is Baltimore wins, they get bye in round one, if they lose and Colts win, Colts would get it.
  12. Definetly hard to get over. I was gonna watch some of todays football games but i had no interest, so i just played board games with my girl and her family and then watched dvd's.... i didn't care one bit bout the games, normally i would have watched some of the games. Bills made everyone proud i think, i can't wait til next season and to have an entire off season thinking and talking about how we can improve on our 7 or 8 win season and not talk about re-building, who the coach will be or who the QB will be and hearing people priase or bash Losman, because i think we can all now agree that Losman is our guy for now and later... he's here to stay and he's proven himself. Should be a fun off-season for sure. It's tuff to lose because i really felt this was going to shock the world basicially, but we did our best and lost to another solid AFC team.
  13. Nice, now i can sleep in extra long and get my drinking started really early and be well on my way even before new years comes!
  14. He's the best blue-collar player you can ask for. Saw a espn special on him, great guy in the locker, hard worker, undrafted and worked his way up with hard work. He doesn't have the greatest stats this season, so he wouldn't cost an amazing price, but he'd be perfect guy for the guy next to Evans. I wouldn't spend too much money on lineman help, look at the Browns, spend all that money for Bentley and look at him. Out for 2 years with an injury. The guy was the #1 OL in free agency. It's proven if you have great coaches, you can get awesome players down the road in the draft. (Preston 5th round, Pennington 7th, Peters undrafted)... no need to spend the big bucks. I think we need to upgrade Gandy's position with a more proven guy, but i wouldn't make that my priority and throw lots of money down for that.
  15. In the dream world, i guess that would work. I don't think they'll be thinking Posluzny but McCauley won't be there for us in the 2nd round. Rod Coleman for DT? What will we do with Williams, Tripplett and McCargo? Give up on them like we were going to give up on Losman?
  16. We would have been out anyways so i guess it didn't matter. I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and we can get into off-season talk. I don't think i want any part of the last game of the season talks. I hope we play alot of A-Train because he did a good job and i can't wait til we throw a few deep balls to Evans as a good-bye.
  17. The WR i would want is Drew Bennett!
  18. They couldn't stop the run at all this season, even Houston ran up on us, and still we got 7... And commen sense tells you Tripplett, McCargo and Williams will improve.
  19. Tripplett showed lots of promice as a first year starter. And Williams is a rookie. Give it time guys.
  20. Merry Christmas everyone! Happy holidays to those who don't celebrate Christmas. I hope every is stays safe!
  21. I don't know if this is the right thread for this but i'll give it a shot anyways. 1. Offensive line, agreed.... Gandy must go and we gotta replace him with a proven guy. 2. Don't draft a speed wr... we got evans, reed, price and parrish. We need a tall, possesion wr like a drew bennett who nate killed today or like a dwyann jarrett. 3. I think defensive line is fine. No need to draft at that position. I'm also optimisitic that Hargrove will be a very solid player for us next season and that McCargo can do a decent job.
  22. I know i'm new here, and i look forward to posting this off-season with you all about Spikes, Nate and the draft. But yeah, good things are definetly on the way, Levy and Jauron are doing awesome for us, i'm still very proud of the Bills, reality hasn't really sunk in yet. But, before this season and even after 2-3 weeks i thought we'd be in the "brady quinn" sweepstakes all year long. To my suprise, we have our quarterback of the future in Losman and we were in the playoff hunt all year. I figured 3-4 wins. We got 7, maybe a 8th next week. I'm a proud Bills fan. I was there today and i'm very happy i went and saw my team battle hard. We came up short but hopefully next season we'll do better. Merry Chistmas everyone and happy holidays. Hope everyone is happy and safe this holiday season!
  23. And the blocking from behind didn't help either. lol But, i agree. We let alot of good plays go. Evans had 2 very close chances for TD's, TD's that the average WR wouldn't make, but a top 10 reciever in the world, the best player on a team who is in a must win game, MUST make. Sorry i know Evans is popular so noone will agree, but imo both should have been cought, and if not both, definetly one of them for sure. That would also change the game in our favor.
