  1. I couldn't agree with you more. I'd still rather have him in office than the shrew, but Trump is no conservative, and he never will be.
  2. I'm not so sure about that. Remember when Gruber got busted for saying that it was the stupidity of the American people that enabled them to sell the whole concept of Obamacare? That tells me that they knew the design was flawed from the outset. If you ask me, Obama's ego would be just as satisfied if history regarded him as the one who instigated the change to socialized healthcare.
  3. Job interviews? It should work fine. You're going to annihilate any unqualified candidates anyway, so I should think the interview process would be greatly simplified.
  4. There's only one way to find out. Now, if you'll excuse me....
  5. Completely agree, but as I said months ago (and the inspiration behind my change of avatar): https://cthulhuforamerica.com/
  6. So now I can claim that I'm Napoleon, and people have to accept it? I'm going to have fun at work tomorrow.
  7. If memory serves, it was Christie that knocked Rubio out of contention by pointing out how frequently he would repeat himself. Rubio responded by repeating himself.
  8. She's almost two years younger than me, so she's an old lady. But yes, absolutely, as often a possible.
  9. Let's just send the police where they're appreciated, and let these morons learn the hard way. The first time there is an assault on campus, simply cite their own petition.
  10. You said "Trump's taint"
  11. That was Gatorman. Comparing him with B-man is both inappropriate and extremely insulting, since B-man largely posts links to articles relevant to the discussion, where Gatorman simply posted nonsense and insults.
  12. "Investigators tracked down the robbery/shooting caller, who confirmed someone hung up the phone the first time he called in, frustrating him, and he had to call back a second time. By the time police arrived, a person was dead." I hope they prosecute her to the maximum extent allowable.
  13. I could see Setrakian allowing Palmer to be turned into a common strigoi, should the opportunity arise. Imagine Palmer's frustration at knowing that within hours, not only would he no longer wield the power he's had his whole life, but will soon become a mindless thrall under the Master's control. If I were Setrakian, that's what I'd try to do.
  14. Agreed. I know I've said it before, but Parker and Stone are comedic geniuses.
  15. Okay, that was good.
  16. Weiners out!
  17. Sorry, not only does this make way too much sense, it also robs spoiled little social justice warriors of their deserved outrage.
  18. Crap - am I using too much paprika?
  19. Nabisco's CEO, Irene Rosenfeld, is white. They make Premium Saltines, arguably the nation's most prolific cracker. Is anyone complaining?
  20. It's a shame when it comes to that. I posted here all the time when PPP was new (anyone remember the dark days of Rivals?), but left because it became way to shrill - nobody discussed anything, there was lots of anger and name-calling (much more than there is now), and it just seemed pointless. After about a decade I began to lurk again, and saw that there were still a few familiar folks but a lot of new ones were here. Something else was new - people were actually discussing things instead of just bitching back & forth. It was much more interesting. People were taking the time to frame their opinions in a manner in which you could get yourself to actually think about what they were saying. Gone was the constant parade of butt hurt soreheads. You still need to be able to back up what you say, and if you can't or won't, you still get skewered. If that happens, you deserve it. If you're smart, you'll reconsider your opinion, or better yet, go study up a little more on what you think you already know. I've been surprised several times upon learning that I was wrong about something, and I've tried to be honest enough to admit when that was the case. If someone can't handle the crucible, then they're not being honest with themselves. If they run away, or actually start to dislike other people because they can't handle having their beliefs or positions on issues criticized, then they won't ever learn a damn thing, and they're better off posting elsewhere.
  21. Ah - missed a key word there, didn't I?
  22. I know, right? Not only that, but it's a pretty good post, too.
  23. So, the Republican party demands an undefined Christian adherence as part of their platform? Please explain to me how that's even possible.
  24. So people don't need an ID to cash a social security check? To validate assistance/food stamp card purchases? To obtain section eight housing? I don't see any way that anyone could possibly make a valid case that it's racist, or otherwise oppressive, to provide ID to prove you're who you are in order to receive public assistance. If you receive public assistance, then the ability to vote often enables you to either protect or increase the amount of assistance you receive, so since you have a vested interest in election outcomes, you should have to prove you are who you say you are in order to vote. Seriously, for God's sake - I don't receive a dime's worth of assistance, and I always have to show ID at the polls. Why is it not racist that I must comply?
