  1. I wasn't commenting on any of that, I was commenting on the fact that the loser wouldn't trash Trent to his face (without getting pummeled, anyway), and that it's tasteless to wish for injuries on anyone who isn't Bryan Cox.
  2. Wow, we're ready to throw the coach out already? Everyone's been blasting coaches left and right over the past few years - I've said it's not the coaches, it's the lack of an OL. I had a couple of Packers fans over my place today. They laughed when Edwards had 2.5 seconds to throw on a 3 man rush...
  3. No you wouldn't. At least the first 5 letters of your username are accurate.
  4. Aye, the Packers be goin' t' destroy the Bills and make us sad pirates.
  5. Exactly. And that's why I can't figure out why people knock Andre Reed for getting pissed off and spiking his helmet against the Redskins and use that against him come HoF voting time, yet nobody really talks about Thurman in the Superbowl.
  6. They really are. I went to the Bills/Packers game in Green Bay back in 2002 and it was great. We lost 10-0, but the fans around me were awesome, informative, and asked a lot of questions about the team.
  7. I was laughing, and even said you were hilarious. What more do you want from me?
  8. Really? Really??? You're now saying that ""Yeah, tell that to the cop who stops you, I'm sure he'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I know I would. "" means you'd really give someone the benefit of the doubt? Hilarious!
  9. I love how you're backpedaling. I quoted the entire thread -- from quote to quote to quote. You said other things in other posts, yes - but I copied the entire single thread. If it's illegal to own them outright, then there would be no intent to prove, and thus your comment about "Yeah, tell that to the cop who stops you, I'm sure he'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I know I would. " would make absolutely NO sense. Nobody busted his chops for the PSA. It was good information, and I even posted the Wiki about it. People are busting his chops for saying he'd arrest someone for intent regardless of whether there was really intent or not.
  10. You don't have time for this because you're obviously wrong The thread went like this: BB27: FYI, possession of lockpicks in some states/jurisdictions is a crime..... Fez: For almost every state, it's only a crime if there's intent. BB27: Intent is not hard to prove, unless you're working as a locksmith (or in Law Enforcement). thebug: Or interested in competitive lock picking. BB27: Yeah, tell that to the cop who stops you, I'm sure he'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I know I would. So we obviously were already aware of the fact that it's completely illegal in a few states and were talking about the fact that it's not illegal in MOST states unless there's intent. You're the one who said you would lock someone up regardless of intent and make them sit in a cell for potentially a few days before seeing a judge, even when no crime was committed.
  11. And I agree with your bolded comment 100%. It was a very important post to make, as there are a handful of states that make the owning of lockpicks illegal outright. But I don't see how I took your laughing out of context: "Yeah, tell that to the cop who stops you, I'm sure he'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I know I would. " That clearly states you would not give someone the benefit of the doubt if you were a cop who stopped someone with lockpicks.
  12. Wow, if you're a cop, you seem to have quite a crappy attitude. "I know I would " Nice. I hope you realize that it's much easier to break into a house using your foot through the door or a rock through a window than to sit at the front door and pick the lock. Actually, it's even easier to just go through a door or window that someone didn't lock - which from reading the local crime section of my paper seems to be how most break-ins occur. I'm not disagreeing with your initiate statement - it's very valid. But the above comment went over the line, IMHO.
  13. Yup, there's a link on one of the updates that has information on every state. For almost every state, it's only a crime if there's intent. http://lockwiki.com/index.php/Legal_issues
  14. There's this guy on Kickstarter who is starting his own company that designs lockpicks. He's one of the best pickers in the world, competes in competitive lockpicking (who knew such a thing existed?). Anyway, he's posted tons of information on lockpicking, and if you back the project you'll get some nice picks and more documentation. Figured some people might be interested. I know I am.
  15. I just don't understand how a bowling bowl shot = R rating....
  16. What kind of computer do you have? On the high setting, you'll need a more powerful machine to decode the HD video. I had a dual Opteron workstation that I built a few years ago that was not able to use the "DirecTV2PC" tool for HD content. It wasn't fast enough to do the decode. I love Netflix streaming, but most of their stuff is not HD - it's SD. See above.
  17. Big surprise that they didn't put the model in the second row of seats. She's really thin and even she wouldn't be able to get back there very well. Look at the distance between the second row armrest and the seat in front -- no way does a normal human being squeeze in there to even be able to sit in the seat.
  18. Then what are you still doing here?
  19. Why should more good people leave so the scum of the internet can stay? Take back the neighborhood.
  20. DirecTV has been adding satellites as well. Last I checked (a couple of months ago), DirecTV still had more unique HD channels. Dish claims they have more because they count PPV, OnDemand, things like that. Of course those numbers keep flopping every few weeks as everyone rushes to add content. Like he said, look at the channel lineups and judge for yourself - they're both similar.
  21. Not going to disagree with any of that, except for the quality -- DTV isn't worse than Dish, I'd say they're on par from what I've seen. DirecTV has more HD channels available. They have dual tuners, but only one decoder - so you can record two shows at the same time (and watch a third), but you can't watch two different recorded shows off the same DVR. Of course DirecTV's "Whole Home DVR" is a better solution than Dish's "One HD, one SD feed from the same box," IMHO - but that's because I don't want SD at all. On the other hand, it's not free ($3/mo), and I haven't felt the need to pay for it myself. (I was in the beta and it was awesome though). Dish, DirecTV, or FiOS, you can't go wrong.
  22. Urbik grew up in Hudson, Wi - where I live (town of 10,000). I think some of my neighbors know him. I should see if I can get some inside information.... Or maybe a free tour of RWS?
  23. Like I said in an earlier post, the ground didn't cause a fumble this time either. You can't fumble until after it's a reception. The ground most definitely can cause an incomplete pass though. The rules clearly state that you have to have the ball all the way through falling/bouncing on the ground. You catch the ball, you hit the ground, you roll around, you stop rolling, you still have the ball in your hands -- catch. You don't have the ball in your hands after rolling around, no catch. Rule has been interpreted that way for years.
  24. You may not agree with it, but it's been the rule for 6+ years.... Nobody botched anything, except for Johnson letting go of the ball as he rolled over on the field.
