That's just stupid. I've had to work roughly 34 hours straight a few times and it really messes you up. Takes a LONG time to recover too, and that was when I was in my 20s. What they're doing is just dumb.

Why not? Ending his career with the second most receptions in NFL history isn't HOF-worthy? Being told that he's one of the best receivers in NFL history by Jerry Rice means he isn't HOF-worthy? Having the most receptions in post-season history isn't HOF-worthy? (I think I read this one's true, but haven't confirmed) He's definitely HOF worthy (especially if Irvin is in). (and yes, I'm biased, but I still think he deserves it )

A lot of people in that thread made related comments, but it's not a good comparison. A CD has a higher fidelity than any MP3 you buy from Amazon or iTunes, and it takes minutes to turn the CD into a bunch of MP3s of higher quality than you'll buy.

Here's a video: At the end, one of the Bandits starts attacking a Swarm fan in the stands as well. I missed it at the game, and it's hard to see in the video but the announcer at the stadium was calling the guy out on it too. Also a great buzzer beater to end of the first quarter. Bandits pulled their goalie, got a shot off, and the Swarm quickly fired it downfield and scored at the buzzer. After further review, the goal stood. Amazing shot!

Just got back from the Swarm/Bandits NLL game. The Swarm dominated Buffalo, which really surprised me - Buffalo usually wins against Minnesota (and most everyone else). Final was 19-11, and it wasn't even that close. Gotta say, the Bandits were playing pretty cheap too, taking a lot of cheap shots after the whistle. The refs, instead of nipping it by calling major penalties (in one instance, two players were shoving and a third came in and sucker punched the Swarm player -- and only got 2 minutes; in another case, Buffalo players came off the bench to start fight which isn't legal, but refs didn't call it), let the game get COMPLETELY out of hand. And the result was the bench clearing brawl. Five players on each team were given 5 minute majors and game misconducts (website says only four per side, but it was updated to five at the start of the second half). It was crazy. I moved in Minnesota in '94. I came here to go to the University of Minnesota after SUNY Fredonia screwed me over. They were ranked in the top-10 of undergrad computer science degrees, so seemed like the thing to do. The weather is similar to WNY, except that it gets a LOT colder (most years... This year's been great!), but nowhere near as much snow. Taxes are reasonable - far less than WNY. Lots of job (in both IT and healthcare at least, haven't checked other industries). Tons of culture - theater, sports, music, you name it. Very hot music scene. There's actually a large contingency of ex-WNYers here too, although the site hasn't been updated in quite awhile: http://www.mspbillsbackers.com/ As others have said, most place are what you make of them. You just need someplace with decent taxes and good jobs and the rest will fall into place no matter where you are, IMHO.

Actually, it's not.... There's no different rules in the endzone than in the field of play. You catch the ball, fall to the ground and it pops out, it's incomplete.

The difference is that you've proven you have control of the ball when you run it in from outside of the endzone and cross the goalline. No established control until you catch the ball. That Evans play would've been incomplete whether it was in the endzone or not, unfortunately.

Wasn't the impeachment for lying? Also, I'm not a huge poltiics guy, but wasn't Lewinski in essence an employee of Clinton? That makes it a little more relevant than someone having an affair in general, IMHO.

What do his (or any other politician's) personal relationships have to do with their ability to lead....? Embezzle funds, fine - that's definitely something I want to know about as it could impact the job. Cheat on your wife? Ask for an open relationship? Eh, who cares?
