You're trying to tell me that you're saturating a 100Mbps connection (or even a 54Mbps connectioN) with FTP within your home? Doubtful...

We got an email that our Austin office was closed. Rather annoying, since I had to drive to wrok on crappy roads with ice and several inches of snow (took me 90 minutes for a commute that usually only takes 30 minutes). Oh well, the price you pay for living in Minnesota I suppose.

If it were me, I'd probably go see it, but I wouldn't pay $5 for a picture.

Yup. The only "add-on" you might be referring to is the HD-DVD drive. If you want to watch HD movies, that's an extra $200 (or less, if you find it on sale). However, as you noted, you don't have an HDTV, so why waste the money on a Blu-Ray player? You can spend the money on one later if you need it. There's a bunch of people here that have the 360 as well, so you can easily play with fellow TSW members (or you can ignore them so you don't accidentally play with TSW members ). You do need to spend $50 (or less) for a year of Xbox Live to play online, but the online play is far superior to the PS3. We could go into specific examples if you want. In addition, the PS3 has almost no exclusive games for it. Most of the games that were PS-only have now decided to release for the 360 as well (they need to make money). The Wii looks cool, but they're impossible to find right now. I'll be buying one as soon as I can find one in stock though. You know me, I'm as big an anti-MS person as you'll find, but with the 360, they did a good job. CW

Yeah, it was a dive. However, the Pats play DID hit Rivers helmet-to-helmet (lightly). If the Chargers did that to Brady (or we do it to anyone) it'd be a flag... Also, on the last spike (before the failed field goal attempt), the Pats jumped offside, no flag.

I don't think this is really a Darwin thing. Up until a couple of years ago, I had no idea that you could die from drinking too much water, and I'd bet that most people are in the same boat. It's not like she died from her bladder exploding or something, It has something to do with electrolytes in your body or somesuch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication

Gaustad, two minutes for getting jumped in front of the net. -

I loved the statement between periods. "I'll just call it a dive." No kidding. Still 2-2 though, so that's cool. -
Ok, I bought the Fusion at Target today, so we'll see how that works. If Braun offered a full refund if I didn't like the razer, I'd try the electric, but based on what people say about electric, I don't want to spend that kind of cash on something that might not work as well as I want it to... Thanks all.

Ok, well that makes me feel better then. The replays during the game showed nothing. I guess that's why the Sabres weren't protesting too much.
-
Looked like 35 saves to me. I don't see how that puck went in at the end of the game, and none of the replays showed the puck in the net (although the camera work was crappy).

I'm thinking about buying an electric shaver but was wondering what other people thought of them. I've been using the Gilette Mach3 for years and like it, but the electric sounds cool to save money on blades/gel, as well as the fact that it's supposed to be a bit quicker. I'm thinking of something like this: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...Y-PLST-0-SEARCH Thoughts? CW

What does "in this day and age" mean? Are carrying drugs on a plane a security risk? No.

Anyone ever been to the Rock and Roll HOF? My wife and I are thinking about doing a road-trip to Niagara Falls in a few months to visit family (sick of airports and don't want to pay $300+/ticket anyway). We're thinking about stopping for a couple of days in Chicago, and also a day (maybe two?) in Cleveland/Canton to check out the Rock and Roll HOF as well as the Football HOF. Is there anything else to do in Canton/Cleveland aside from these two places? It looks like the two cities are only about 3-4 hours away from each other, so we'll probably spend the night in Canton before driving up to NF, NY. Cw

See, I was right, didn't take long.

I thought about trying that out a year or so ago, but they had no free demo, so I never did. I like playing video games -- Xbox360, Nintendo DS, PC, hopefully a Wii soon. I like photography. I've taken some pretty good shots I think. I used to write a lot, and really enjoy it, but other things have taken over. I really should start again. I used to make some cool models out of LEGO, but those got packed away when we moved and I havn't unpacked them yet... Videography is fun too, as is making DVDs (related). The Bills DVDs used to be fun, but then we started to suck, so I haven't made as many. I might do some of our late-season games where we actually started playing well, but we'll see if the other hobbies get in the way. CW -
I heard this on the radio this morning. The part that's left out of the link you provided was that they allegedly tested the condoms at the airport and they tested positive for drugs. They tested them later (in the prison, presumably?) and they no longer tested positive. Not sure why it took so long for the second test... I don't believe that they ever tested positive in the airport, and that the TSA/plice simply couldn't believe that it wouldn't be true. But I'm sure everyone else will say that she had it coming. "Why would she bring something like that onto a plane?!?!" "She's just asking for trouble," or "She was probably being a jerk."

Buffalo now has the most points in the NHL (and Anaheim has played an extra game).

Mike Williams - House for sale
Fezmid replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I live in Hudson, WI (right across the border from Minneapolis/St. Paul). My house was assessed at around $185,000, and we paid about $2,200 in property taxes this year. However, last year we paid about $3,400 and the year before, we paid about $3,200. Not sure why it dropped so much, but I'm not complaining. CW -

Well I believe that women should not be allowed to have babies because men can't do it and it's degrading to us. Bye bye human race.
