  1. Gotta disagree with the Peerless thing. I think we're thinking too much about the Peerless that was in his last year with the Bills than the Peerless that was with the Bills the years prior and the last two with the Falcons. I think the Peerless of 2002 was more a product of Kevin Gilbride's system. 2004 was the first year KG was the coordinator and we all remember how pass happy he was. On top of that you have Drew who also looked to go long and often, and PPs numbers were naturally inflated. I'm not taking anything away from his ability, but in this run first, control the clock offense, with a young QB, Price wouldnt be of any benefit, imo. I could see him bitching after 4 games that he only has 6 or 7 catches. Sorry, but I'm glad he's gone and would rather see an improvement in the other aspects of the offense.
  2. Amazing, the Giants basically outbid themselves.
  3. d_wag, I agree with you that the offer Detroit made was reasonable, and I am with you in that its dissapointing we didnt sign him, but I disagree with you that TD made a mistake"low-balling" him. I've read this entire thread and I have yet to see you answer the 50+ times others have asked you to provide details of the offer TD made. Can you just PLEASE give numbers, instead of your opinion that thats TDs MO, to support your argument? PLEASE?
  4. Its kind of dissapointing that at the start of free agency, the list of available gurads was pretty extesive and many of us felt we would definitely get one of those names, especially since its an obvious need. A few weeks later and we have Gandy to show for it, with slim pickings left. Still, I have faith in the OBD braintrust, its wavering, but still there.
  5. MW has now been spotted in Times Square NYC: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/s...0p-248512c.html
  6. 1. Steve McQueen - r.i.p. 2. James Dean - r.i.p. 3. Tommy Lee Jones
  7. Larry Centers and Sam Adams also left town and eventually signed.
  8. Thomas Jones is their starter.
  9. Forgot about that! Oh well, lets get used to Dylan McFarland now!
  10. I think the Bills probably view him as a good back up and spot starter, especially since he can man either T position. But as a long term, full season solution at LT, they may not consider it. Not to say that I dont think he's capable of doing it, but its probably similar to the situation R Tucker was in last year that they really didnt give him an opportunity to compete for the LG spot (it was a two horse race between Smith an Pucillo), instaed prefering he concentrate on being the backup Center.
  11. Actually I think the difference between TKO and Zach is that TKO has too much of a neck, whereas Zach has none!
  12. Thanks for the clarification BGIM.
  13. Along those lines, I would be concerned about the chemistry between Gore and McGahee. After McGahee was drafted, I recall reading somewhere that Gore was bitching that he was a better back than McGahee and some other negative stuff. Unfortunately I cant recall where that was published, but it was shortly after Willis was drafted IIRC.
  14. The sharks would toss him back out!
  15. The one that has to be pissed now is Sarah. I wonder if she still gets that promotion and pay raise Driscoll promised?
  16. AMEN TO THAT! That was a weekly waste of 5 - 10 minutes that could have been used on the main plot.
  17. Why has One Bills Drive been so quiet? Because they're letting the folks at Two Bills Drive do the job for them, of course.
  18. It was Ben Rothlisberger.
  19. I wouldnt mind that, but there would have to be concern over who would backup Tucker at Center. Currently, I dont think we have anyone either good or experienced on the roster for that (Sobieski was a project at center last year). That would mean getting another FA ($) or drafting (inexperience) for the backup spot.
  20. Another interesting thought....Jim Fassel is now the Ravens OC. Rumor has it, he didnt get the Buffalo HC job last year because he didnt think that Bledsoe was salvageable or something to that effect (again, RUMOR). Lets see if the Ravens in fact show any interest in Drew.
  21. I thought you were referring to the possible Owen Pochman era. Oh well.
  22. http://www.backstreets.com/news.html Read second sentence.
  23. Supposedly without the E STreet Band, unfortunately. Still, I'm looking forward to it.
  24. Cant see that they would move Vincent to strong safety, after moving him to FS, which he is better suited for.
  25. Reese defintely. Pucillo, as much as I wouldnt shed a tear to see him get the boot, I get the feeling hes gonna make it to training camp, but get cut then.
