I'd just like a professional interview on both sides. We're talking about a football team in training camp, not breaking the Watergate story or guarding national secrets from terrorists. Getting asked questions you don't like or getting an answer you don't like isn't a reason to participate in the spectacle that resembled an interview the other day. I hope everyone learns from this. This isn't a critic of people's ability to do their jobs, just one public instance I think reflects poorly on all involved. I have a feeling after a few more interviews when the season starts no one will care about this anymore.

Hell get Marrone on here. I'll let him know how poorly I think he handled the situation as well. You don't like the term pissing match, that's fine. Call it what you will, flare up, misunderstanding, too many people talking at once, I don't care. I don't think anyone came across looking all that good in the exchange. In my opinion, the coach, the reporters, the Bills, and Williams all had a hand in making a nothing story into an overblown situation. As a reader/viewer/consumer of Bills info, I would have much preferred an interaction that resulted in more information about what was going on in training camp from the coach's perspective. I don't care. I just didn't find it to be an attempt at "secrecy". Seemed pretty plain to me he just didn't want to talk about it, no that he was trying to hide the issue or misdirect people. Maybe I'm a chump, I tend to believe people until I know they're lying to me.

I just wanted some info from the coach on training camp. Not a pissing match between the reporters and the coach. And you have no proof he didn't tell you the truth.

Pass it to find out what's in it. Keep supporting that.

Maybe they should have just sat there for an hour asking and answering the same questions? A massive battle of wills to see who blink first. Ask it and move on. You don't like the answer? Write an op ed telling us how you think he's not being straightforward. But badgering a point in an interview isn't going to be productive. Or do we think those hard hitting questions were going to break Marrone down and make him start admitting things? And by the way, what the !@#$ do you deserve to know? Did you somehow earn the right to get an answer you consider truthful, or is that a privilege bestowed upon you by birth?

There's a difference between feeling that someone isn't being honest and acting like a douche. Did we invite TMZ to the presser? All sides could have and should have made better choices to not have this non-story blow up like this. Including the indirect participants like Mario and the Bills PR.
