  1. When you're done, make like a fetus and head out.
  2. This is so easy, it's a 2 step process. Step 1) Bring naked pictures of your boss from the last Christmas party. Step 2) Name your price
  3. See I don't exactly agree with LA's stated point. I would probably be a little more narrow in my hyperbole suggesting that Obama wouldn't be successful Running a Fortune 1000 business. I think schmoozing, and being a popular guy can make take you to a certain level of success in private business. Many companies have worthless mid-level managers and even some pretty worthless VP's. Sometimes unfortunately it's not about what you do or even can do, it's about what you don't !@#$ up. So if he could just manage to skim by while schmoozing the right upper management sponsor, while never really accomplishing anything but at the same time not !@#$ing up anything serious, he could probably have what many people would consider a successful career in private business. But it's apparent that you don't even understand his point.
  4. It's incredible that you can function in daily life without seriously injuring yourself or others.
  5. It's not about being impressed dipshit. It's about comparing apples to apples. An adjunct professor position is no closer to a job with a fortune 1000 company than President of the US is.
  6. Not an expert, but she should lean in a bit more.
  7. It would be nice if the show actually showed what each one was really doing over the course of the day. It would be easier to tell who's bitching was more legitimate. But so far the guys have seemed rather wimpy: 1 guy is afraid of the snakes, bats, and water 1 guy steps on a thorn and has to have his foot medically treated 1 guy drinks dirty water and leaves the show sick 1 guy gets a sunburn day 1 and doesn't do anything for the first week 1 guy does ok at the beginning, but almost cries when he's exhausted and falls in the water But I also tend to notice myself being very hard on the guys when I see them bitching and lying around not doing anything. I tend to have a less negative reaction when the women are doing the same.
  8. So you're refuting the Fortune 1000 claim with a University adjunct position?
  9. At what point does this qualify as crusading?
  10. Mashed Potatoes.
  11. Again, I'm not telling you that you're wrong for going outside. But as a personal safety issue, you have just placed yourself in danger. What the "experts" tell you to do is call the police, make sure your house is locked up and take some defensive positions inside to protect yourself and your family. I don't know what I'd do. They don't allow you to snipe people from your windows so that option is out. Is it wrong to go outside? Not in my opinion. You just have to be willing to weigh and accept the risk and consequences associated with the decision. Hindsight is 20/20 for Zimmerman and I'm sure he wishes he'd never gotten out of his car.
  12. Mock the statement, but the truth is he did place himself into an unknown situation that was potentially dangerous. From the personal safety aspect of it, indeed he shouldn't have exited the vehicle. Do I think that in a million years he would have thought the situation would play out like it did? No. Do I think he got out in order to harass Martin? No. I think he just got out to get an address and see if he could keep an eye on Martin, ignorant of the fact that he wasn't making the smart move. That doesn't make him guilty of anything except acting out of ignorance. It's the same reasoning that if you wake up in the night and hear people breaking into your car in the driveway, you don't go outside. Does it make you wrong or a bad person if you do? No. It just means you have willfully placed yourself into a potentially dangerous situation.
  13. That may be the worst thing I've ever heard.
  14. Haven't you seen the Jills?
  15. In fact I think many here pointed out the stupidity of his guarantee when he made it.
  16. My understanding was that there was some kind of incident. Whether it was violent or physical I don't know. But the incident stopped, and she went to the garage, got a gun, came back in and shot at him. That's not self defense, it's attempted murder, or at the least assault with a deadly weapon.
  17. Tulsa had 70 people a couple of days ago. I didn't hear a number for Oklahoma City. It was definitely more than we had for the Occupy Wall Street though. Those numbers were under 20.
  18. The guy in that story made even dumber moves than Zimmerman. You don't announce that you have a gun and tell the people to freeze. If you do, you are likely to get a reaction exactly like he got. Plus he entered a situation where people were directly breaking the law placing his safety in immediate danger. Zimmerman left his vehicle to pursue a suspicious looking person the chances of entering a dangerous situation were less for Zimmerman. Both moves show an ignorance of your own safety, but the former is a much more brazen disregard for your safety than the latter. Plus the fact he admits he was the one that started the confrontation, whereas that's still an unknown in the Zimmerman case. Had Zimmerman done any of those things, he would likely be in jail.
  19. Hey, it keep us from talking about the Middle East or the IRS or anything else that seemed important just a few weeks ago.
  20. I don't know about a drinking problem so much as it appears he had more of a problem with the hangover. Or maybe he had the beer farts and the Mannings asked him to leave?
  21. Couldn't they just tell him he was in California?
  22. You know the saying, "There are no stupid questions." That's just what you tell a stupid person after they ask a stupid question to make them feel better. And they fall for it because they're stupid.
