  1. I respectfully disagree on this point. Campaign contributions did little to change the outcome of this election. Trump won despite being a bad candidate. Hillary was so much worse. What needs to be done is to prevent politicians from benefiting financially from their time in office. Too many politicians are leaving office 1000 times richer than when then entered office.
  2. Two totally unrelated subjects, but would warrant further internal investigation. Page was the subject of a FISA warrant based on an uncorroborated Dossier (Sorry... Yahoo news story fed by the author of the Dossier does not count), and renewed multiple times on the same basis. I could care less about the Papadopoulus investigation (unless new evidence of FISA funny business comes to light in that one). There are two outcomes IMO that would fix everything... 1. The FBI is corrupt and the leadership and tainted middle management needs to be replaced. 2. Repeal FISA.
  3. CNN Spin Doctors are doing everything they can to discredit the memo and Trump. Sad day when they can publicly defend the use of the fabricated Dossier in order to secretly spy on a US Citizen. So much for Due Process/rule of law.
  4. Well... that changes everything! https://i.imgur.com/RwvjVjg.gif
  5. So the entire investigation on a *US Citizen* using a FISA warrant relied on the Steel Dossier, and multiple subsequent 90 day renewals of the FISA were signed off by FBI officials despite the knowledge that the Dossier was at that point debunked. Did I get that summary correct?
  6. The news reported this morning that there is a mandatory delay on any declassified documents released by congress to allow the executive branch to submit an objection. There is no objection from Trump, but the delay is still mandatory.
  7. Cousin's market value is largely because of hype. Tylor's value is lower due to opposite hype. If you step back and look at the numbers, Tyrod has been consistently in the midle of the pack as a starter. Cousins cna put up bigger yardage but doesn't change his overall standing as a middle of the pack QB who's been overhyped.
  8. You guys need to stop drinking the koolaide. Cousins is NOT a long term solution and would require a huge contract at the expense of improving other areas (With Wood out we need OL help ASAP). His numbers are middle of the pack just like Tyrod's. Best bet is to move up in the draft a get a QB of the future. If there is a cheaper veteran available to hold the fort while the QBoftheF learns the offense, otherwise keep Tyrod and and hope the learning curve of the rookie is short.
  9. Why. Cousins is hardly an improvement over Tyrod and he will demand a huge contract. For QB's with at least 100 attempts, his QB Rate is Ranked 14th to Tyrods 18th. He threw 3 times as many interceptions as Tyrod... 13 to 4. Completion PCT is virtually the same 64/63. Sure Cousins threw 27 TD's to Tyrod's 14 but Tyrod actually led his team to the playoffs with a rookie HC. Tyrod is not the answer at QB long term but neither is Cousins.
  10. I know right... had we traded Tyrod instead of Gilmore, we would be in the Super Bowl with him at QB!
  11. Not mentioned in you list but maybe alluded to in #3: Passion. I coach a junior rifle team. I can tell you, someone who is passionate about the sport they love, will learn to overcome their physical and mental deficiencies, and will themselves to be better. Talent and intelligence is not enough to get it done. That is why people like Brady, who has an undersized NFL arm and average intelligence, is better than everyone else.
  12. Agreed. Seemed like when we traded Dareus it took a few weeks before the defense was able to recover from his loss. We definately need to pick up someone in the draft and free agency this year to bolster the D line.
  13. If we lose Kyle to retirement we need to get a replacement in the draft. Low first or high second round. Pick up someone in FA to be an upgrade over Washington.
  14. He's a good possession WR that doesn't have the outside speed to get behind the Safety. If we draft a QB in the 1st, we need to draft a fast wideout in the 2nd unless McDermot thinks that Zay Jones will cure his rookie year yipps.
  15. I think Tyrod did his best and is a good, not great QB. Based on the ESPN QBR ranking he's 17th. Not great but not bad, ranking higher than Cousins, Goff, Winston, Newton, Carr. http://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr
