  1. I think you mean quota...maxx'd.
  2. But what are they saving for!? WHAT ARE THEY SAVING FOR!?
  3. That game was incredible. Lost by 3 points, Folk biffed a 45 and a 48 yarder, Sturgis biffed a 43 yarder. I've never seen a team manufacture a win like the Jets did...only to lose. It was breathtaking. They ran the ball...49 !@#$ing times...for 277 yards. Prior to the final drive (that ended with a Geno pick), the Jets had...wait for it...FOUR completions.
  4. And, oh btw, that's Duane Allman on guitar:
  5. Happens to me all the time, which is exactly why I'm constantly complaining to my wife about our inability to purchase a new refridgerator, a private helicopter and a secret lair dug into the side of an active volcano.
  6. I totally agree. Oliver is !@#$ing CRUSHING it on HBO. He won't leave to go back under the thumb of cable TV. And I don't think Stewart wants the grind anymore, so don't count on him bopping over to NBC (although I think that would be a baller move for him AND NBC, which is precisely why NBC would never do it, as has already been noted).
  7. But he used to mention Buffalo in his Tweets!!!!!!!!
  8. No (this will come as no surprise to many)
  9. I grew up in Erie. Chicago should be ashamed of itself. For a city that likes to fancy itself an all-weather town, the collective freak out...over 17 !@#$ing inches...was pitiful. Now, having said that, having grown up accustom to at least one three-footer every winter, last year's winter in Chicago was hands down the WORST of my entire life. I think we made it 10 straight days without once surpassing 0 degrees. And it stayed frigid WELL into March. This year, in spite of last week (the 5th largest accumulation in City history (how sad is that?)) has been wonderfully mild.
  10. There's nothing else you need to know about him.
  11. It's happening on all fan boards...except this one.
  12. Oh boy. Should I tell him?
  13. Usually doesn't set in until number four. But in this case, yes.
  14. Why does it matter? It's a message board. He retired two years ago. It's Thursday night. There's another 7 months until the season starts and I just cracked my third beer. Go with it, homey.
  15. Yeah. And a lot of times he was one on one with the ball carrier in the backfield and...inexplicably fell on his face.
  16. Presumably he had the beast one on one in his cross hairs, then inexplicably fell on his face.
  17. I think you misunderstood what I wrote.
  18. Many on this board said as much as well. A LOT of predictions ranging from 2 to 5 wins.
  19. Let's flash forward to their early September rankings when, because we "didn't do enough to address the quarterback situation" we fall to 29th. Preseason prediction, because "Rex Ryan is notorious for failing to field an adequate quarterback," 4-12 (never mind the fact that the team had to start the season 0-8 the last time they sunk to a record that bad).
  20. All I know is post-Millennium Park Chicago. Watching Chicago movies from the 80's and 90's is very disorienting.
  21. Yes. Seems like the only crime here is selling tickets...and expecting to make money.
  22. I've gotten the impression that the 12th man has SKYROCKETED up the power rankings for the most insufferable fans. Seems like they've been on a collision course since 2012 to own that distinction outright. You may not like him, but he's definitely not "crappy." Not compared to the other yahoos who attempt to do his job. Not by a long shot. Frankly, the Collins/Michaels team is my favorite. And it's not even close.
