  1. Blount also got into a fight with Joey Porter.
  2. I see what you're saying. I do. And I hate the !@#$ing Patriots*. But this has no legs.
  3. Sorry, but that feels like a stretch, So what did the Pats* gain by cutting/reclaiming him? Did they get him cheaper? If that's the case, why would he have been complicit?
  4. somebody help me understand how getting cut automatically places him back on the New England roster when he'd have to clear waivers from a bunch of other teams first.
  5. He's a professional football player entertainer. Do your !@#$ing job.
  6. meaning that quote really resonated for a reason. when fred speaks, people listen. he epitomizes "realiable." particularly in instances like these.
  7. Whenever the coaching carousel roars back up, I'm always a true believer in continuity. IF (consider the source, sure) he comes back, I think it also tips their intent for EJ, too, leaving him squarely in the plans. ...speaking of sources and their reliability.
  8. So says Laconfora: @JasonLaCanfora Nathaniel Hackett has a 2nd interview for Rams OC job this week. BUF wants him back and WSH and JAX also interested in him for QB coach
  9. I can honestly say that for the few periods in my life when I've been an SI subscriber, I always enjoyed their photographs most. It is, after all, called Sports ILLUSTRATED.
  10. Welcome. If you decide to post more (and you should), you'll learn very quickly how to sort through the negative Nancies that aren't worth your time (see above) Thanks for contributing!
  11. What does the second "F" stand for?
  12. I really learned to appreciate the family I had growing up once I married into my wife's. YOWSAS. They got it all!
  13. Sounds like that argument may not stay "behind closed doors" for much longer, though. Families. Aint they great?
  14. I mean, if she has ACTUAL proof that the white-bread patriarch/patriarchy was the only thing, or even the most substantial thing standing between her and advancement through an NFL franchise, then that would be bad. Never mind that being a victim of discrimination does not a competent anything make. If she cries wolf and is caught, then the whole lesbian stereotype of being uptight, thin-skinned and humorless carries on and whiteys like us (most of us) are even further confused by precisely what makes for "oppressed," here in 2015. I know, right?
  15. Yeah. It's like something out of a bad soap opera. Instead I went for something with actual shock value. Yeah, I'm sure they've been waiting out this "phase" since her Sophomore year at (Tulane? Welsley? Brown?).
  16. She of the lipstick variety? If that's the case, then I'm SHOCKED to hear about her daddy issues. Also, if that's the case, reminds me of the one of the most prominent families we have here in MY backyard, the Pritzkers and their son-turned-daughter Jim-turned-Jenny. Before and after.
  17. So is the owner justified, equally culpable or both?
  18. You know, for the tire fire most fans make EJ out to be, he looked pretty damn good.
  19. "yeah but still" the three little words that will let you walk away from any argument on top!
  20. Well, another tactic they used in the playoffs this year will result in a rule change: the "ineligible receiver" nonsense. Completely defies the spirit of the law while upholding the letter. Ditto the giant television screen in the Gillette Stadium parking lot that's only visible from the pats*' sideline. It's all one big long list of minor infractions or minor rule-shirking that can't be pinned to a competitive advantage directly resulting in wins. That's what's frustrating. They are a great football team with a stellar coach that doesn't need to cheat to win. You also can't look at their unprecedented success and say "Sure, they have one of the greatest QB's of all time and arguably the best coach, but that aside." Well, yeah The Bills are from Buffalo. That aside, no other professional football teams are in Buffalo. I think these protracted conspiracy theories are just that. But it is clear that Bellicheat will find/exploit any and all tactical advantages that exist. But that's also why he's the best.
  21. It was a flying Liu Kang kick directly at the defender's knee "disguised" as a slide, and thus a protected maneuver. And frankly, it's the latter that makes it so despicable,
  22. Oh, sure he's competitive. But he's also a LOUSY sportsman. Like, one of the worst.
