Hackett has a rep for being spastically enthusiastic, approaching each day of his career like a 12 year old tearing open a new addition of Madden. Seems like one HELL of a contrast to the surly Doug Marrone. Coupled with the receivers shown on the all-22's running wild all over the field, I'd really like to see what Boy Wonder could do with a change of attitude. As I was driving to work today I was fantasizing about calling up Orton to ghostwrite his 2014 tell-all.

Hiring Nate Hackett as HC would at the very least accomplish two things: 1. Would pulverize the TSW server. 2. Would keep the WGR phone lines lit like a Christmas Tree until September.

I know they're under contract, but none of them seem to be actively pursuing or seem to be pursued. That leads me to believe there's a possibility that the whomever is calling the shots prefers a HC that leave most of them in tact, as they've been told their job security isn't necessarily in jeopardy. This to go along with each and every other cockamamie theory, explanation and prediction circling this past week!!

There has been nothing reported (that I've seen) about the future of our (still under contract) coaching staff. Anyone think it's possible they're asking the next HC to come and be the caretaker in 2015?
