If you think Daboll is going to magically make this WR group into some sort of juggernaut, you've lost your mind. Brady is doing a nice job putting points on the board and is still a young up and coming coach. Daboll had his warts too. People seem to forget. I don't see how any coach can make this WR group any better. The problem is talent not coaching. Can't help but think that bringing Daboll here would be a huge mistake. His offense is too hard to learn and would take the rest of the season just to get it going and even then, without the talent, might never happen. Plus the strength of this offense is every single player that isn't a WR.

Colts are just going to run it down their throat now. Already have them softened up and tired. -

Oof. Atlanta does have a RB, right? This is painful to watch. -

How long can Atlanta hold them off? They need a good drive here. Give their defense some rest. -

God, what happened to good rock bands at half time? Last good one I remember was when Tom Petty played in the superbowl. This crap is depressing. -

Dorian Williams in the Hoecht/Lorax role?

Soloman is listed at 247lbs on the Bills roster. He does have some pass rush moves. Always thought he was more of a joker than a true DE. -
One thing that stands out about the injury report, is who isn't on it. None of the TEs are on it. Reggie isn't on it. Cook says he's good to go. None of the OLmen are on it. This is going to be a game where the OL, TEs, Reggie and James set the tone. The Bills are running 12, 13, and 22 personnel a lot. Going to be a lot of running, but there will be some passes too. Defenses are getting caught with their pants down when the Bills pass, for instance, out of 13 personnel. You have 3 TEs on the field it seems obvious that it's going to be a run. The Bills are passing out of that and making big plays down the field! Now defenses can't decide presnap whether it's run or pass. By the time they figure it out, it's often too late. And with our OL, even if they do figure it out, they still can't stop it. The Bills are probably the best team in the league at OL blocking. Only thing about this game that worries me is how well the defense performs. That's where the vast majority of the injuries are. However, I'm really encouraged by the speed we now have on the back end. Those guys are making plays back there.

Bills don't "need" a WR, they need to use the ones they have better
Rockinon replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't believe this to be the case, really. There have been some deep shots. Most are going to TEs, though. Just watched a video breakdown by PFF, found in another thread. The Bills are using the TEs to make defenses think it's an obvious running play but instead it's a pass. Often a deep ball and it's been very successful. -
I think it's not just Po. Tre is also a wiley vet. It's hard to imagine that neither is contributing in some capacity. Probably both are involved in some way getting the back end to be in the right place at the right time.

Really good discussion in this thread. I believe we have the talent to stretch the field both vertically and horizontally. It seems to me the TEs have been the focus in this offense with perhaps Shakir and Palmer being the exceptions. It'll be interesting to see how the back end of the season goes. Maybe some of our other WRs will be worked into the game plan more going forward. -

The Bills currently are #1 in rushing and something like #9 in passing. The TEs are a big part of the passing attack. It seems to be a work in progress getting the WRs more involved. Those WR screens are going to get someone killed though. They really do need to work on getting some route trees that work downfield more. -

I think the Bills in some ways are modeling their offense after NE from the Brady years. They ran a lot of 12 personnel. The TEs are a big part of this offense too. It's not a bad passing offense when Kincaid is healthy. Knox is pretty good at catching balls too. These guys are often matched up with a LB too, which is a huge mismatch. I just think the WRs seem to be afterthoughts and it's a shame. Maybe, it's something they are building towards. -

Josh was devastating defenses with those 15-30yd passes early in his career. He can absolutely hit those passes and get them to the target faster than most QBs in this league. Brady isn't scheming that into the game plan. OP has a point. There is no reason some of our speedier WRs shouldn't have better numbers. Maybe analytics is telling them that they are better of with the short throws, but with Josh Allen throwing the ball? I think maybe there can be some slight adjustment considering who our QB is. -
Brady did have a hand in on the most prolific passing offense in college history. When he came to Buffalo and was elevated to OC, I assumed that was the direction we were headed. Boy was I wrong. 🤣
