I like Knox, but you can't rely on a guy with that type of injury. He is someone you bring in to see if hes healthy, and compete for a spot. You can't count on him. We made that mistake with Merriman a few years back to be our pass rusher, then he got hurt, again, and we sucked even worse than before.

Well Fitz is actually pretty mobile I think the decision was made to focus on the defense and build a care taker offense until they were ready to plug in a guy and go. Or they thought Kaep would last tunil later in round 2 which IMO is more likely

Alot of contract talk gets started at the combine when so many agents are around. The Bills waited a while before signing Johnson last year, I have no doubt they will make a good offer to keep these guys.

Lets look at Marrones history with QBs Who has been his QB where he has coached Jets 02-05 Chad Pennington Saints 06-08 Drew Brees Syracuse Ryan Nassib All pocket passes. Why would Marrone, in his first NFL job take a risk on a mobile, streaky at best player with an injury history? It just doesnt add up. This isn't about Fitz or Vick. Its about Marrone. Who runs his offense best, who fits his mold best. Based on his history, it is unlikey to be Vick. JMO
