  1. Lonnie Johnson getting creamed on the fake punt in 1997. Lonnie Johnson getting creamed on a fake punt.
  2. I have to agree with that one; also the 1973 MNF game when OJ hit 1000 yards at game 7!
  3. How about the Band that played in the end zone during timeouts. Remember that, really rattled lots of people.
  4. Remember that very well, great stuff.
  5. Buffalo Bills Highlights with Rick Azar on Saturday afternoons and Buffalo Bills Preview with Ernie Warlick.
  6. Heard Van Miller call it on the radio! My father was good friends with John Mazur, he claimed Kent could throw quite the bullet!
  7. Good stuff! Mailon Kent, the taxi squad QB.
  8. Not arguing with you at all, this was a great post, can't you just leave it at that. Take small breaths, smile, laugh a little bit and chill out!
  9. Great story, both very large men and well fed. Denver Broncos. The Bills had four great wideouts in 1971 - JD Hill, Heaven Moses, Marlin Briscoe, and Bobby Chandler but still had crap for offense.
  10. Dudley Meredith fumbled the opening kickoff leading to Chiefs TD, and yes, Bobby Bell creamed someone after the whistle and no flag.
  11. On January 1, 1967 the Bills got blown out by KC in the first AFL Championship to determine who would play in the first Super Bowl. The Offense was terrible, four Bills turnovers led to 24 KC points and Jack Kemp played a pretty bad game; Bills offense had issues all season. The Bills grabbed Keith Lincoln from SD and Tom Flores and Art Powell, we got one season out of all three where as Lamonica became the famed "Mad Bomber" for the Raiders into the early 1970's. I remember the trade well, very painful.
  12. Lou Saban and Cookie Gilchrist; I love Ralph but Lou Saban needs to be there now!
  13. Ya in response to your experts; just trying to keep an expert guy happy! The experts I heard that disliked the trade were on the NFL channel, not really writers.
  14. Time will tell; heard other "experts" call the trade a really bad move. He's just a fricking sports writer - who cares!
  15. But he has us talking about him! BTW once upon a time I did hear positive laudatory comments from Sully, think it was back in the 1990's, I could be wrong.
  16. My point exactly, what do you expect a sports writer to say about this organization since 1999; lousy coaching, horrible drafts, poor scouting, and the bottom line - no playoff appearance since 1999!! I love this team and sat in War Memorial Stadium in 1966, I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. But until this team hits the post season, I have no issues with any writer, Sully or others critiquing this team. If you want poms poms, just read past posts on this board, hilarious, going back years that "this is the year."
  17. Don't push anything on me dude, just another reporter pushing opinions, don't lose no sleep over it and don't care either way! Exactly!!
  18. Maybe brilliant maybe not! Just an opinion, if it upsets you that much don't read his column, if enough stop reading his column he goes way. I have more important things to worry about. As far as Jerry goes, take a trip across memory lane and read past posts on this board. Not much different, again just opinions, who cares!
  19. Lots of people called Mario and Darius losers on this board over the last three years. Sullivan's job is not to fill the paper with BS ensuring you all go to bed happy; it is to offer an honest critique. If Sully has been wrong, please remind of the last playoff experience for the Bills? Does 1999 sound about right!
  20. Totally disagree WRT OJ; Thurman is the greatest HB - he could run, catch, and block. Take Thurman over OJ in a second and this coming from someone who watched OJ play his rookie game in 1969 until traded in 1978! Cookie was a battering ram and fast!
