  1. How about Nate Washington?? He's done well as #3 Steeler WR. Could be ready to be a #2.
  2. C-hawks also have Seneca Wallace who has played welll when he's had to.
  3. I was waiting for Frerotte to be cut after the Vikes traded for Rosenfels.
  4. Actually his stats for last season weren't too bad. 8 TD passes vs 9 INTs for 1905 yds & just under 60& completion percentage. He also had over 300 yds running. The negatives?? His average yards per passing attempt was 5.1. His yds per rush was higher at around 6.0. Both Whoseyourmomma and Ocho Cinco averaged about 10 yds per reception which is pretty poor. I remember being offered Housh in my FFL but all I had to see were games like 7 receptions for about 50 yds to stay away from him. So, no deep balls from this guy. Probably for the best considering the RWS weather factor, but you'd like to have the threat. Sure we could've picked up Rosenfels for a 4th but we didn't.
  5. You mean like the LA Lakers and the Utah Jazz?? Been done before and can be done again. Buffalo or Erie County could go to court to preserve the name as the Cleveland area did with the 'Browns' name when Modell moved his team to Baltimore. They changed the name to the Ravens but I wonder if they would've changed it anyways. Baltimore Browns?
  6. And the Bills wasted 1st round picks on both of these clowns after trading other picks to move back into the 1st round. Oy vay!! Whereas you have to give some credit to the front office for making these moves to try & get another 1st round quality guy. It just didn't work out with the 2 players they selected.
  7. If this is true, you'all can thank me. Just about every year, whoever I draft in the 1st round for my fantasy football team either gets injured or has a poor year. Consider my selection of Brady this year as my contribution to help the Bills try to end their playoff drought.
  8. I was surprised they also cut receiver Chad Jackson, their 2nd round pick in the 2006 draft. Since receivers can take a while to adjust to the NFL, he must really have not impressed BB.
  9. Yeah, that's great. Belechick has picked up Bills cuts before prior to their playing each other just to get info (Ex:Jonathan Smith) only to cut them after the game.
  10. I read also that Murphy returned to practice but he's 3 weeks away from being cleared to play?? So you have a low-round rookie in Bell as your lone backup OT going into the opener?? Furthermore, they kept only 6 LBs, including a recently converted Corto, with 2 of them (DiGiorgio & Corto) missing practice on Sunday and Jauron saying they SHOULD be available for next Sunday?? Are they just holding them out as long as they can as prep for the opener??
  11. Weird that the lone Off Lineman is someone brought in recently due to injuries. I guess he impressed or none of the others (like Gaddis) are eligible for PS.
  12. Dude probably should've stuck with baseball. I guess he could give it another try since he's only 28.
  13. No way would it be Hamdan. With the injury history of Edwards & Losman, this is one team that needs to carry 3 QBs.
  14. Do you mean once they practice in camp?? Carnell (Cadillac) Williams reported to Tampa Bay's camp but wasn't able to practice/play so he went on PUP. He was working out pulling a weighted sled.
  15. I'm sure his friend Gary laughed even more when he saw that. I can't believe I actually watched the whole thing. Showed some creativity but too long.
  16. But I don't get why they just didn't do it now and keep another player like TE Tim Massaquoi. Who would've thought letting Michael Gaines leave would've mattered??
  17. I think this leaves some questionable position scenarios. Only 5 linebackers?? That's a position usually used to support special teams and I thought Costanzo was a standout. Nine offensive linemen that include a rookie in Bell & an injured Matt Murphy?? Hopefully this is a sign that Peters is ready to report. Six safeties?? I guess Corto is being considered a LB, although you'd think Wendling would be consdired a better candidate as he's lsited as 1 inch taller & 14 lbs heavier. He also has shown hard hitting. Didn't we just go thru a failed experiment of Coy Wire converting to LB??
  18. I'd go with McKelvin & Parrish, and maybe give McGee an occasional chance. A nice situation to have with 3 players who are threats.
  19. What do you mean he's shot?? He's just one season removed from a 1300+ yard, 12 TD season and he's only 28.
  20. The Buffalo area skools must have some of the best English teechers. I've never scene a sight where their are so many comments abowt posters' tiping, spelling and grammer errors.
  21. If you've ben a Bills fan for at least a few years, you know they have been one of the worst teams as far as announcing cuts. The deadline may be 6 PM EST but that doesn't mean they'll be made public then.
  22. Remember the number of times the Bills ran the ball or took a knee before the half when there was plenty of time left to try & mount a drive. This was either due to not wanting to put pressure on Edwards and/or lack of confidence in the overall offense.
  23. You been watching Arliss reruns on ESPN Classic?? Sounds like the character Mike Armstrong.
  24. Maybe he's waiting for training camp to break??
  25. The Miami game being played in Toronto still pisses me off. Having a home game at RWS vs Miami in December has usually just about guaranteed a win. Now it's going to be in a dome??
