  1. you can't force players to come here . Rebuilding doesn't have to take forever but in this instance it is not happening in one offseason .
  2. Thngs are bad. Players are not coming unless we overpay,(just look at what the Lions had to due, those contracts were crazy ),and they are not coming because of the city or theweather they are not coming because we are not very good. My guess is we sign some depth players but the real work will have to come from the draft. If Buddy can put together a couple of good draft and players see that there is a chance to win then they will come. Next year, whenever it comes should be a very good year for free agents . Lets hope enough progress has been made to entice some pieces to help the rebuild .
  3. Todday is the first time I hearing about incognito not wanting to play for the bills . Any one have a link on this
  4. Looks like it will be Kelly washington talk all weekend although the big ben news should be good for at least 10 links
  5. another team looking for a qb
  6. he would be a beast with them
  7. Can't you guys make something up to keeps us occupied through the weekend . Is ralph awake yet ? did someone mention beer ?
  8. no doubt he was a very good qb at one time but from the playoff game on he had one of the worst streaks you will ever see. Cleary he will end up somewhere but as for what he has left , it doesn't look good
  9. second time doesn't look good. Even if he is inncoent he should learn to hang and different places
  10. I hear you, but this was way over the top
  11. shouldn't Andy be watching the kids
  12. One of the best crying scenes ever. 800 ints and he thought everything was going to wrok out ? crazy times
  13. The truly sad thing about what you said is that we never had the proper players to run the tampa two. 4 freaking years of changing over the d and they never go it right and now here we are back to square one
  14. I am not a fan of a project qb in the third round. I agree with Darth on the point that we need a quaterback. Either we go all in to get one or wait another year. Jarrett Brown probably need two years to get on the field. From the looks of this mock there looks to be some good wr depth in the third round.
  15. the nfl network guys were just talking up whitehurst .
  16. I guess it wasn't just the weather for shanahan Peppers-to-Redskins rumors go to full boil Posted by Mike Florio on March 4, 2010 10:22 PM ET Less than two hours until the start of free agency, rumors are flying that the Washington Redskins will soon be signing defensive end Julius Peppers. The thinking had been that, if the Redskins decide they want Peppers, they'll get Peppers. It just wasn't clear whether the Redskins want Peppers. Our pal Lance Zierlein of KGOW in Houston has reported, via Twitter, that the Redskins will come "charging hard" after Peppers and that he expects a deal to be done by tomorrow. Last year, Zierlein reported that the Redskins would land defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth days before it happened. And we're hearing that the situation has progressed well beyond the Redskins "charging hard." We're hearing it's essentially done -- and that barring an unexpected development the only question is whether the deal will be announced before or after the sun rises in D.C. That's bad news for the Bears, who had planned to make a strong push for Peppers.
  17. Panthers bid farewell to Delhomme Posted by Mike Florio on March 4, 2010 10:13 PM ET After a horrendous performance in the 2008 divisional playoffs followed by an even more horrendous performance in the 2009 season, plenty of media types were proclaiming (we won't name names -- not because we've decided not to be prickish but because we can't recall who they were, specifically) that quarterback Jake Delhomme definitely would be back. We didn't buy it. And we're glad we didn't. Jay Glazer of FOX reports that the Panthers will soon cut Delhomme. His tenure in Carolina ends with a whimper, via a career-low passer rating of 59.4. He'll possibly land elsewhere as a backup, maybe with the Saints, who play in his home state.
  18. we will know soon Free agent Chester Taylor is expected to sign a new contract within 48 hours. We can rule the Texans out, and the Vikings are out the picture as well after failing to reach a deal. The Lions may be the front-runners as we head toward midnight. With a well-rounded skill-set and fresh legs, Taylor's stock is believe to be high as he enters free agency. Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press
  19. Tim, Busy time for you I bet. Any good news coming this way ?
  20. I think some big hiiters are going to be in on him
  21. I think the post was saying one third round pick for lynch and one third rounder for whitner
  22. if jw is part of a group of three or 4 solid guys I think that is a good start. Lets say foote, williams and maybe porter . how would that be What I think is that the new free agant rules killed us. Under normal circumstances there would have been a decent amount of off line talent available and I think Ralph might have been in a buying mood.
  23. there is not going to any big signings. We will get 3,4,5 maybe 6 players to help with the rebuild. How many free agents are worth big contracts this year anyway ?
  24. two more thirds would be nice
