how much you wanna bet our beloved yet buffonish
bkc replied to HelloNewman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it the unlikely event that all 4 tackles are gone , we take a d end or linebacker or trade down for someone who loves berry 2 qbs 2 dt 4 o tackles puts berrry at 9 -
the d tackles (mccoy and suh ), are more 4-3 guys then what we are looking for.
-
I Agree on both points , build the o line first, but if Buddy loves the guy then let get it done

The Lions are reportedly holding out hope that the Rams take a defensive tackle at No. 1, so they can deal the No. 2 pick to the Browns or Bills. Both teams are believed to be intrigued by the idea of moving ahead of the Redskins to select a quarterback, likely Sam Bradford. The Lions are also hesitant to guarantee over $30 million to one player after dolling out $40 million to Matthew Stafford last year. fox sports

How is Chan Galley not head coaching material ? Two playoffs seasons in Dallas. As for Georgia Tech he did fine, besides a college coaches biggest job is recruiting which is a specific requirement for College coaching not the NFL. As for Dick Jauron he is responsible for this mess. Pop Warner offense and A roster filled with undersized players brought in here to play in a system that was nevergoing to work . Give Buddy and his team two offseasons and I bet things are looking a lot better. This is the first time in a long time we seem to have someone in charge who has a clear idea about what he want to do and how he wants to do it.

Bills Weather Conditions for Home Games (Stats)
bkc replied to SouthernMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
at the end of the day you are really looking at maybe one game difference then most other teams that play in the cold . giants staduim has crazy winds. Cleveland is a mess. Phila is not treat. Pittsburgh is rough , ect ,ect Northeast teams have won in a variety of way over the years . From the Parcells Giants run and d teams to the pass happy Brady teams to a certain team that played with a no huddle the key for us is to find an identity what ever it is an build a team around it for the next 10 years put me down for the Jets model, but at this point anything that wins some games works for me -
Before the cards game in 08 he was playing at a good level, there was even talk of him becoming a very good qb. Heck we were winning games, I get it, we beat a lot of teams with poor records , but still wins are wins in the nfl. The problem is that he hasn't been close to that quaterback since he got his head scrabbled . Would things be different if he played befhind a solid line to protect him ?. I don't know ,but I have a strange feeling we are going to find out this year.

Jet expected to give Leon second-round tender Posted by Evan Silva on February 27, 2010 7:03 PM ET According to Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News, it's "believed" that the Jets will use a second-round tender on restricted free agent Leon Washington next week. Though Washington is coming off a fractured fibula and tibia, he would generate interest on the restricted free agent market if tendered at the original-pick level. Washington was a fourth-round selection in the 2006 draft. If not for the injury, teams probably would've given Washington a long look at the higher-level tender. The second-round tender is worth roughly $1.8 million. According to Cimini, the Jets expect Washington "to be ready for opening day." Washington is likely to be New York's No. 2 back behind Shonn Greene in 2010, while also contributing in the return game. Incumbent starter Thomas Jones is expected to be released It appears as though Leon washington is coming back close to full speed. It would be great if we could count on Eric wood for next season

Darth's whole concept is what keeps getting us in trouble we really need a safety = we reach for whiner we have to get a quick d tackle = mccargo we really need a big tall wr = hardy we really really need a pass rusher = maybin what we really need to do is pick some good football players in the first few rounds this draft appears to loaded with good front seven players on the d side and o lineman By the way a very very weak qb's Taking a qb for the sake of taking a qb just sets us back even further and again i ask , who is your solution ? There is nothing wrong with signing a Pennington or hoping Chan can get something out of what we have. What is wrong is draft a qb and paying his a fortune then find out what everyone is saying. This qb class sucks Make this team a strong as possbile and when you identify a Qb you love , go all in to get him The Jets made it to afc championship game with really no qb play at all
-
agreed not
-
wow ! how the heck did that happen
-
Darth likes to harp about the need for a qb but offers no logic solution . he doesn't like the three we have. wants no part of Pennington , campbell or whitehurst. unless there is going to be a jay cutler situation pop up I don't see a great solution. by the way year on of the Cutler thing didn't workout to well eitehr

Bills Show Interest In Whitehurst, Tomlinson?
bkc replied to Ghost of Rob Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
your Qb obsession is well noted. Hoever, A team in our division made it to the afc championship game because of a top notch o line and good d. The qb cost them more then helped them. Granted he played better in the playoffs. My point based on what is available right now. It is possible to put together a o line and improve the d this year. Qb are very important but there is not one attainable right now. Why not fix what we can this year ? -
or he could write some key points on his hand

Are we still gonna try to trade Whitner

With all of these team now using 3/4 in never made sense that this guy would slip to the mid second round. That is unless he is just a total slug -
He is suppose to be a good kid, not a thug at all. Just a little lazy at times. As you said at 20 who of us wasn't
