  1. More defensive injuries...
  2. I think this is what’s known as a win.
  3. I did not like the decision, but Allen's injury could have factored into it. A team that's down by 3 on the road will almost always settle for a FG instead of trying to score a TD, whereas a team that is down by 6 of course has to try to score a TD to win the game. If the Bills don't covert, I feel like the worst that can happen is the Cards kick a FG to tie, and in that scenario, it's likely that the Bills, who had two timeouts left, get the ball back with some time left to get the winning score, or at worst you go to OT.
  4. He did it all last year, too. It's essentially a free play for Josh Allen and we never take advantage of it.
  5. One other thing that bothers me about Brady: Every time we have second and short, he calls a running play to try to pick up the first down instead of dialing up play action or some other throw down the field, as if he's terrified of facing a third and one. It makes zero sense, especially when you have Josh Allen, who can covert third and short (or fourth and short, for that matter) in his sleep.
  6. The Cardinals were selling out to stop the run the last two possessions of the fourth quarter...a play action call or two would have absolutely killed them.
  7. Allen averaged 10 yards per passing attempt yesterday and the Bills had 14 plays that gained more than 10 yards. McDermott/Brady kept the Cards in the game with "play not to lose" football on the last couple of possessions. It was as if they thought Tyrod Taylor was still their quarterback.
  8. Yes, I understand how it works. The question is, why is money moving toward the Phins?
  9. The line had been Dolphins -1.5 for a while, including after the conclusion of the Bills and Dolphins games yesterday. There was nothing about the two teams' games yesterday that would have moved the spread, other than a possible injury to Josh Allen's hand.
  10. You didn’t answer my question…why would the line move a full point this morning?
  11. Then why was the line Miami -1.5 last night at 10:00?
  12. I acknowledge that Allen moves the line way more than one point. Obviously there has been no announcement. My thought was that the uncertainty about the hand could move the line a full point from where it was last night.
  13. I’ve seen that called, but I think that was a good no call. The ball was way under-thrown and the receiver just stopped running and was never going to catch it. On the other hand, Rapp never turned around to look for the ball…
  14. Good grief, Johnson missed the entire game and Kyler Murray threw for 161 yards on 31 attempts...not exactly time to sound the alarm.
  15. The Bills' secondary was fine yesterday. What did Murray throw for, 150 yards? That's not moving the line. I would guess that Vegas was looking for some sort of "he'll be fine" announcement from the Bills this morning, and it hasn't happened. Obviously, that's a lot different than "Josh is out", which of course would cause the line to move drastically.
  16. The line has now moved to Dolphins -2.5...I'm wondering if that's because of concern about Allen's hand...
  17. That “great offense” scored 17 points at home yesterday. McDermott has always had a plan against McDaniel’s offense.
  18. Josh had a very awkward slide yesterday and his slide in the pre-season game was ugly too. I almost feel like QBs put themselves at more risk by sliding, especially on artificial turf.
  19. Harrison looks slow and had a terrible drop, especially for a guy who had “the best hands in the draft”.
  20. Go with what’s working
  21. Pretty simple: hand the ball to Montgomery
  22. He and Stafford are very similar QBs at this point in time.
  23. Jameson Williams is a handful. Now that he’s fully recovered from surgery, he’s about as fast as anyone in the league.
  24. It’s early, but Caleb Williams looked absolutely awful today, despite the talent all around him.
  25. The play calling was awful. Cardinals were selling out to stop the run and they kept running it up the gut. A few play action calls would have killed them. Josh Allen is your QB FFS! Let him eat.
