  1. Coleman is looking as good as any rookie WR this year, except for maybe BTJ, and including MHJ, who was massively overrated coming out of OSU. I think we got something.
  2. Titans really are a different team with Mixon and Collins.
  3. Apparently the call on the field is no longer relevant…no way that should be reversed.
  4. You’re probably right, which is very unfortunate.
  5. This seems like the kind of game that would get an offensive coordinator fired in an organization that practiced accountability
  6. I missed. Must have been fast
  7. I thought the Titans got the ball to start the game…
  8. It’s funny, because Mason Rudolph seems to always be growing to wide open guys. Our offense is a joke.
  9. I find it hard to believe we can’t do better than Codrington as our return guy. Zero explosiveness and questionable ball skills.
  10. Injured LBs are a constant feature of this McDemott scheme.
  11. Rudolph seems to be more than this cottony-soft defense can handle.
  12. If the NY Jets had secretly paid off Joe Brady and told him to design an offense that would neutralize Josh Allen, it would look a lot like this.
  13. How on earth are the Jests favored by 2 at Pittsburgh? Do the Steelers have a ton of injuries?
  14. Levis is far more likely to make a Nathan Peterman-level play…he is hands-down the worst starting QB in the NFL right now. Rudolph has played solid NFL football from time to time. He is an upgrade.
  15. It blows my mind when I see ostensible football fans advocate for less NFL football on TV, as if three nights a week for 18 weeks per year is just too much to handle…
  16. Then why do you think Rudolph is starting?
  17. You don’t think he’s better than Levis?
  18. I didn’t say the Titans are going to win…
  19. The line was 9.5 yesterday
  20. Not good news. Rudolph is much better than Levis. I thought he played well at Buffalo in the playoff game last year.
  21. Correct. The league is not declining in any objective sense. Ratings and attendance are higher than ever and the caliber of the athletes is as high or higher than ever, especially with the rise of mobile quarterbacks and the migration of the best athletes in the league to wide receiver. i do think the decline in youth football participation, although it is regional in nature, poses a real threat in that the talent pool is shrinking and less youth participation could mean fewer future fans. I think this is an important reason the league is trying to expand internationally.
  22. The Jets want to be a very good team. Right now they are mediocre at best, and if you told me they stink, I wouldn't disagree.
  23. The Jets are a "very good team"?
  24. With apologies to Winston Churchill, the NFL is the worst form of sporting entertainment, except for all those other sports that have been tried from time to time…
  25. This is a very bad matchup for the Jets, especially in Pittsburgh.
