Anyone know what the Bills’ magic number is? Would it be possible to clinch the division next week with a win over KC and losses by the three tomato cans? I don’t ever remember a team clinching that early…

I don’t feel strongly about the Jones part…he may well be useless.

I actually feel like, with good coaching, the Giants are a playoff team. There is talent on the roster and Jones has potential to be a top 15 QB

To continue a discussion from another thread, people are foolishly counting out the Steelers. They still have a realistic chance to win the AFCN and I don’t see any scenario where they are not at least a WC team, which should only require 9 wins this year.

The Steelers have a brutal schedule the rest of the way, but it would be idiotic to count them out, especially since Tomlin appears to have breathed life into the corpse of Russell Wilson. At a minimum you can count on them winning at least one game each against the Bengals and Ravens.

I would argue that the Dolphins are in the worst shape of the three. As you said, they have a flawed roster, and are probably looking at a serious decline for Tyreek in the next year or so. Worse yet, they are now committed to Tua, who is injury prone and, even when healthy, is not good enough to beat good teams late in the season. The Jets still have a lot of talent and will get a chance to start over with a new coach and QB next year. And of course the Pats’ rebuild has already begun and shows at least some promise.

NO is a terrible job, right up there with Carolina last year…no QB, and in cap hell at least until 2026.

The Chiefs averaged 8 yards per play on offense. That is an embarrassing defensive performance at home in the playoffs. If Hardman doesn’t fumble out of the end zone, the game would have been over much sooner. Don’t get me wrong, offense wasn’t great (although Allen played well) but that defense stunk.

Not last year…the Chiefs had to come to us in the playoffs…and then McDermott’s defense laid an egg.

Then why is McDaniel 1-7 against us?

The Chiefs will probably be slight underdogs, which is somewhat concerning given Mahomes’s record as an underdog.
