Drake looked really good two years ago, right up there with Alvin Kamara and Kareem Hunt. And I agree that he seemed to be underutilized. For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to have maintained that same level of play. Lost playing time to Frank Gore last year...I'd certainly be interested in exchange for a mid-late round pick.

As I’ve said, I wouldn’t have made that trade, but the Rams are putting all their chips in this year. Ramsey is 24-years old, has insane athletic ability, and is a legit shutdown corner. He’s a defensive cornerstone for years to come, at a premium position. And the notion that Goff now stinks is absurd. Did anyone watch the way he played against Seattle on the road 10 days ago? He too is 24 years old, and he’s already taken the Rams to the Super Bowl. Who’s to say that Ramsey won’t put them over the top this year, and if he does, who can deny that it was worth it?

I would not have made the trade either, but a top cover corner like Ramsey is absolutely considered a difference maker in today's NFL. It can be hard to keep up with league-wide trends, but the current thinking is that great coverage guys like Ramsey are more valuable than pass rushers because teams have figured out ways to neutralize pass rushers. (I'm guessing that might be news to Aaron Rodgers, Baker Mayfield and some other NFL QBs.)

Well, he's better than three of the four. And between him and Mack, it's pretty close.

He is arguably the best CB in the league. It's a premier position, arguably worth even more than a top edge rusher. That's worth 2 firsts. There were apparently multiple teams willing to give that up for him.

It’s simple: if you aren’t sure you saw a personal foul, don’t throw the damn flag, especially in that situation.
