Yep, another good interview. What I learned is Palmer is quite a blowhard for a guy who played an entire HOF game. The guy loves hearing himself talk.

4-5 Sacks, perhaps. Our QB gunners have mostly come from the inside, with Hughes & Murphy solid yet unspectacular outside. Our Defense needs the DEs to contain and disrupt flare/flat passes. Anything more than that is purely bonus.

You share the doomsday theory many others do. There certainly could be truth in your assessment (it’s been 90 some odd years since the last one). Because the NFL is currently going full steam ahead for a full 2000 campaign, that’s the only truth we know today. Until/unless something changes, onward we go with the best laid plans & precautions.

eh, not especially. Not with so much uncertainty about the season. A forced shortened season or rash of infections will derail most teams expectations. I get the the Browns ‘19 season comparison, but they were paper thin, power struggle in moment and many new faces last year. Those aren’t our ‘00 issues. But nothing can really be anticipated.
