  1. At last, someone else who understands this.
  2. True, but that's a couple of big if's. The point is that the radio head said the defense 'could get worse' with the leaving of Fletcher and Clements, which is a definite possibility.
  3. If Fletcher and Clements both leave and we replace them with rookies or mediocre free agents, do you actually think the defense would be better?
  4. He certainly is a pencil-neck geek, but everything he said is spot-on.
  5. John...I'm no ortho specialist, but I'd have to basically agree with BFM.D. above. I think a repeat MRI is reasonable if it has been this long and he's still having problems, although I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't show anything new. But he's right, if it does show something, then you've got a target. If not, then I also agree that there still might be something that can show up on a scope, and you would need another opinion to see if a scope is indicated. And then you'd have to decide if the risk of the procedure is worth it. I'm also available by PM if you want.
  6. That was awesome. Thanks.
  7. Priceline is great for hotel room and rental cars, but I stay away from flights because of the time thing.
  8. That's exactly what I'm moving to! Do you like it?
  9. Wait, did I miss the part of the press release where it said we've re-signed Coy to make him our starting linebacker? Oh that's right. I didn't.
  10. What on earth about this signing could make you worry about the free agency period? It hasn't even started yet, and this signing will have zero impact on the team's approach.
  11. Just because he was re-signed doesn't mean he makes the team.
  12. I make beer, although not as much lately. Bottling is hell, so I'm moving to a miniature keg system. Aside from the bottling, making beer is just plain awesome.
  13. Oh please God no, not again.
  14. I would have said 'hearty chuckle' if I hadn't already seen this oh, like, 2 years ago.
  15. Whoa, not bad. Got any advice for the lottery?
  16. I never made such claims, but I'd certainly take April's evaluation over a bunch of numbers that you seem to believe holds a great deal of importance.
  17. Funny, I really thought Rhodes deserved it...
  18. How could he forget James Harris? After he was released by the Bills, he led the Rams into the playoffs.
  19. Exactly. And I've read more than once about how Royal is possibly the best blocking TE in the league. Aside from the colossal blunder he made in the Tennessee game, I'm fairly sold on his receiving skills, too.
  20. We can only dream....
  21. Not to jump too much on the Royal bandwagon, but I think we started to see how much potential Royal has as a receiving TE (we already know he's a great blocker) once the offensive system opened up a bit the second half of the season and allowed him to actually run pass patterns. I'm not worried at all about our TE situation, except perhaps what might happen if Royal goes down.
  22. This topic is like the gift that keeps on giving.
  23. The biggest help for JP right now would be a couple of guards who can actually play at a high level.
  24. I would like to see the Colts win for many reasons, but I'm finding it difficult to believe that it will happen. That said, if the Colts can prevent Hester from burning them during this game, it will be close.
