You have hit the nail on the head. You will notice that all of the kids that go on murderous rampages were targets of endless teasing by other and the kid saw no other escape from the torment. Change the tolerance to teasing and this phenom will go away. And by change the tolerance to teasing I mean do not tolerate it in any way shape or form. I'm glad I grew up during a more innocent time period. As a kid I used to love to create bombs with black gun powder and various ingenious electrical based detonators. Wow that was really really really crappy. My crappy cop story is not so dramatic as that story but this cop was a real dork. It was Christmas eve just after work. I was rushing home so we could go to the in-laws for Christmas eve dinner. On the freeway right at my exit I take to go home this cop pulls me over for speeding about 11 miles over the speed limit. I ask for break since it's Christmas eve and I just want to get home for Christmas. Nope, he wrote the ticket. Talk about the grinch !

All good advice here ! I have run my own company for about 8 or 9 years now and this is all the straight stuff. People look to their supervisor to be knowledable, fair, resasonable and firm.
