No, there is usually an absense of truth and logic with Willis haters. I get a kick out of the mind readers who can determine what Willis thinks and his motives are from watching him on TV. Usually you have to live with someone before having that insight, and even then most people get it wrong.
Good post. But sadly, the truth and logic has little room here at TBD. Everyone should note, watch highlight films of LT. Usually no one is touching him until 10 or 15 yards past the LOS. In otherwords, LT has great blocking up front.
Not sure about Fletcher, I'll defer to better football minds than myself. But I like the other suggestions.
I would add another big possesion type WR and a big brusing RB to complement Willis.
I think Ali is the greatest. the judge of a true professional is how easy you make it look. Ali made it look easy because he was that good. Toying with the best of his peers.
I like Turner on that list but I would keep Willis as well. Turner would make a great change up runner, not to mention that 3rd and short power back. Does he pick up the blitz very well ?
Don't forget about Willis, this year he really excelled at picking up the blitz ! It was critical development this year that contributed to JP's development.
I agree, we need a hybrid of the cover two. We need widebodies on running plays and pass rushers on passing downs. The Warren Sapp's of the world are hard to come by.
