The production is just isn't there anymore. I would trade him for a draft pick and develop one of our young receivers. Chan's play calling just doesn't seem to call for a deep down the sideline very often. We need more variety of routes from our #1 WR.

The Spanos's have said all along they would pay for the new stadium given certain concessions by the city. If I remember right, they own the land, no property taxes, can build condos and shops in the stadium. The major of San Diego is very pro chargers and new stadium so I think a deal will get done.

I am a big fan of Fitz and believe he can be our QB of the future. I do think he needs to improve on the really quick dump offs. I see that he is in such a hurry to get the ball out that he either mishandles the ball and you get those crazy balls flying out of his hands before a throw can be made or his accuracy is off. In those he needs to slow down enough to make sure he has the ball handled correctly and feet set to make an accurate throw. On those long out patterns he also needs to throw the ball to the opposite shoulder off where the defender is sitting to hopefully eliminate defenders jumping the route. He's young so he will get better.

Cant wait to see the Coor's light beer commercial they make from that presser.

I saw on the news that the SD downtown center city development group (a SD Gov agency to develop downtown) were having private negotiations with the Chargers and could not comment on what was taking place. My take on Spanos selling off a portion is to raise the money needed to build a new stadium in downtown San Diego right beside Petco park. The pieces all fit. Sorry no cloak and dagger moves. San Diego is not moving to LA. Jaguars might be moving to LA.

Are you guys kidding me? Fitz is a star QB right now. Will Peyton block downfield for his RB ? Hell no. I think Rivers has blocked downfield. Brady doesn't. Fitz is the best QB in the NFL right now! Luck who? Forget Luck we have Fitz.

I think Lindell makes that kick, the earlier kicks Lindell made had lots of distance thru the upright. I knew when we punted the game was going to slip away. You only get so many chances to win.

This DL flat out sucks. Kelsay is the best DL on the team but the supporting cast is terrible. Next years draft has to be all DL and LB's so this defense can get off the field and give Fitz a chance to score more points.

Why didn't we kick the FG at the 40 yard line? It's a 55 yard attempt, Lindell can do it. A punt is like waving the white flag to me. Or go for first down if the FG is unmakable.

That was a blatant head shot cheap shot. I would have ejected him from the game. Then fined him $250K and suspend him for 3 games so maybe he would get the point. One more infraction and gone for the year and next year.

I've watched Jim Kelly during his career, Joe Ferguson, Dan Marino, Bob Griese, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Fran Tarkenton, John Elway, Kenny Anderson, Dan Fouts, Brett Farve (When he was in his prime), Roger Staubach, Warren Moon, Payton Manning, Phil Simms, Tom Brady, Steve McNair, Ken Stabler, Terry Bradshaw, Vinney Testaverde, Dave Kreig, Doug Williams shall I continue? And I like what I see in Fitzpatrick. I would like him to slow down a bit and throw with more confident deliberation, he rushes his throws sometimes. I would like him to see the saftey waiting to jump the route on those long out patterns to the sidelines a little better. But he is playing really good football right now by reading defenses and going thru his progressions quickly and pulling the trigger. I think he still has some improving to do and then he will become a top flight QB. He is really young in his QB maturation process.
