DoorDash Tells Customers, You Don't tIp, You Wait!
dorquemada replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Off the Wall
You know what's even cooler about capitalism? You and your revolutionary idea can go get seed funding and start your own worker-cooperative based doordash competitor and watch the world beat a path to your door! Hell you can even set minimums on delivery (like every pizza place on the planet before 5 years ago) so your workers don't have to take unprofitable trips! -

Capitalism is what allows us choices. Nobody is forcing you to use DoorDash, or order from a particular restaurant. You would know this if you had ever been to a communist country. The people who complain the most about capitalism are the ones who have never experienced the alternative Very few of these type of jobs are net positive. I travel a lot for work and speak to a ton of Uber and Lyft drivers. The honest ones admit in the long term they lose money but are chasing last months credit card bill. -

Eh, i delivered pizza in HS and college, and I guess I understand the point here but tipping culture is out of control. At least half of the places I go now and pay by credit card expect a tip, even for takeout. I've actually started to avoid places that have ipad checkout kiosks because they are inevitably the ones who pivot it around "it's just going to ask you a question" -
dude looks like he'll be up to speed pretty quick nice to have a guy who doesnt skip leg day

How Good Is Miami? How Good is Buffalo?
dorquemada replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah i mean the point i was making was the raiders were what, 2-0 when we played them? Maybe Commanders were still over .500? But they are not good teams just perhaps adequate/average teams I'm glad we beat Miami, but that's somewhat tempered by 2 other division losses -

Do you consider the Raiders and Commanders to be good teams? -

To the extent it says what you are saying it says, it says exactly the same thing about the Bills Bills and Dolphins can (generally) beat up on bad teams, and lose to anyone over .500 -
Would you be for "Eye in the Sky" officiating?
dorquemada replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've been saying for years that we could absolutely develop an AI driven video analytics platform that could do a much better job than the human refs. Even if all the platform did is inform the refs that there had been a penalty so they could throw the flag and keep all the ritual involved The current state of officiating is so bad right now that one could argue that the NFL is entertainment, not sport -
yeah they did it for sure. was a much more entertaining brand of football!

overall OL played a good game, JA getting the ball out quick from mostly clean pocket. Bucs were definitely ready for the rollouts though

The Ripoff Report: The Good, the Bad and the Irritating
dorquemada replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
yeah agreed, fill the 1T and LB holes first, but if there's a way to rent Henry for the rest of the season it would be huge -

All this Henry talk leading up to the game, i'd have liked him in Q4 to get a first down. Cook played an amazing game, and the OL opened some holes but Cook isn't going to move a pile like Henry does -

please let it be something dumb like swapping out one awful WR for another and not something serious -

beyond the obvious, that we need the win, I'm hoping we see some fire. right now this team is strait up boring except for 3 minutes a game -
yeah that's the conundrum here. They can't score in the 1st half, so they speed it up late in the game, but by then it's too late. If they start with the no-huddle or hurry up, im not sure results will be different, 3 and out but faster at the end of the day the play calling sucks and the execution sucks. The players are going through the motions, the coach is clapping, and the process is the punishment
-
Is Dorkey capable of getting a play called in less than 30 seconds? Can Allen fit several plays in his head? Can the Bills huddle for less time that it took me to write my Master's Thesis (several years btw)?

this this team aint the same one that clobbered the commanders. that team wasnt infected with sad brains
-
buy - struggling to get 7th seed sell - bills ranked in top 10 teams hold - McD and Dorkey arent going anywhere, see sell
-
There aren't any teams that come to mind that I'm comfortable that the Bills would be a sure winner

I need to win the lottery this week The Bills absolutely needed to win the last 3 games, full stop. Losing 2 of them puts them in a position unlikely to recover given the schedule, also given the soft nature of the guys still standing. If they lose to Tampa Thursday, especially if they turn in another half-hearted effort, we're going to see a whole lotta running for the bus the rest of the year
