  1. That wide right quip at the end was completely and totally uncalled for and I demand an investigation.
  2. Contrary to popular opinion, Andy Reid was not fired after an NFC CG trip for not being able to "get over the hump." He missed the playoffs for two straight years with a final year at 4-12. That's what got him fired. Then they had to go through 3 seasons of the Chip Kelly experiment before landing on Pederson. Also, Reid was fired in Philadelphia on 12/31 and hired in KC on 1/4.
  3. He said "all-time-greatest," not favorite. My favorite Bills QB is Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  4. 7 NFL QBs had completion percentages over 50% in 1964. With Bradshaw it was the best defense in NFL history and Franco Harris. With Rothlesburger, it was a great D and some great RBs. Teams win SBs.
  5. Yeah, Stupid NFL for blocking this. But click through. You'll be glad you did.
  6. A lot of guys had good games. The Bills were a play or two away AGAIN.
  7. Yeah. The argument that the OP is making is like saying that Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino just because he happened to ride a defense and a running game to a SB. Zero. All those guys chain smoked and didn't work out. This years Panthers would smoke the 1966 Packers.
  8. Jack Kemp never had a completion percentage over 46% in Buffalo. In the 1964 AFL championship season, he had 44%, 13Tds and 26 INTs.
  9. Would you rather the Bills played those games on the road? If you want an easy schedule in 2026, root for the Bills to suck next year. Finishing in first place has it's drawbacks.
  10. That's not it. We can't appreciate how much fun Josh Allen is to watch because we live and die with every play. I know a lot of fans of other teams, and they tell me that the Bills are a must-watch unless their team is playing.
  11. Defense got two stops to start the second half. All week I heard that we needed a few stops and a turnover. The Bills D got all of those things and still lost.
  12. Two words for you: Skyy Moore. Another two: Cylde Edwards-Hilaire. They miss too. Mahomes and Reed just mask those busts.
  13. Since this seems to be the "talk about the game" thread for the day, I'll put this here. It frustrates me that fans think in absolutes (fire everyone and trade Josh) in a game that was won on a few plays. Lets take that 3rd down screen pass before the final Bills play. Spags brought the house. This time Josh recognizes this and audibles to a screen. The screen went for 5 yards, but if Brown could have blocked Karlaftis or if Cooper breaks that shoestring tackle, it would have probably been a TD. There was no one left between Amari and the EZ. One play. These are not blowouts. Yet again, the Bills were a play or two from the SB. Maybe that's what is so frustrating.
  14. They were overprepared. They watched too much film, and the players and coaches were not reacting to what they were seeing in the moment. I hope this is a lesson to two young playcallers that you have to break your own tendencies in high-leverage playoff games. Spags put things on film ALL YEAR, just so he could break a tendency in that single moment. You gotta love football for things like that.
  15. Football is too violent to have games that don't mean anything.
  16. They are waiting until after the SB to hire Kellen Moore.
  17. Joe Brady called plays in Carolina.
  18. The great Howie Roseman picked Jalen Reagor 1 pick before Justin Jefferson. Brett Veach picked Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the first round and Skyy Moore in the second. They all miss some.
  19. This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but Mario Williams was worse. Paying a pass rusher that kind of money when the team doesn't have a QB and therefore no chance of winning is a waste of money from the outset. Also, signing TO and giving him the key to the city was just embarrassing. Von Miller was a swing for the fences by a contending team. It didn't work out, but I don't blame Beane for trying.
  20. going 3 and out on the first drive
  21. Mahomes actually panning out as a QB from a college air raid system went against league-wide conventional wisdom at the time. It's complete revisionist history to think that he was a slam dunk
  22. A million is putting it mildly. More like 20 million.
  23. I'm catching up with old friends. And by old friends, I mean all the negative posters who are suddenly back at TBD. I missed them so.
