  1. Toledo has mostly Detroit sports fans. Columbus is split, but probably more Browns than Bengals. There are Steelers fans throughout the state. There are also Bengals and Reds fans throughout Kentucky.
  2. Kudos to Joe Burrow to showing up to the post game presser after a loss in Bengals team gear. Most players don’t do that.
  3. Spoiler alert: go to bed.
  4. Is that a sneaky Darcy Reiger reference?
  5. This 50/50 balls to the perimeter is the Bengals entire offense.
  6. For your lurking pleasure: http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Week-8-GameDay-Thread-Bengals-Browns?page=54
  7. Not so money tonight.
  8. Bengals board melting down.
  9. The Vikings season is over! They came out of the bye week stale and only beat the Cards at home by 8 points. And they only won that game because Kyler threw them two picks. If they played a better team, they would have been stomped. The 4-4 49ers beat the 3-5 Rams, so they are winning the Super Bowl. Did I do that right?
  10. Imagine spending that much money on a ticket and then sleeping through the whole thing? Unrelated question: Are there people who come to the tailgates without a ticket and then watch the game on TV in the parking lot? I haven't been to an NFL game since the 90's, but I saw a bunch of people doing that at the one Ohio State game that I went to a few years ago.
  11. If those standings hold, the Bills don't play in the first round.
  12. I thought about them, but that team was not a great regular season team.
  13. That was absolutely the case on the first INT. The coaches must have told him at halftime not to run. I hate it when they do that, because it just messes his game up because it takes him out of dog mode.
  14. Great teams win when they don't play well. Just for some perspective, the 2007 Patriots (16-0 regular season) beat the A.J. Feeley led Eagles at home 31-28. That Eagles team finished 8-8. In 2006, the Colts beat the Winless Vince Young Titans 14-13 in the RCA Dome. The Colts were 18.5 point favorites in that game. I could keep doing this, not to mention the losses that great teams have every year.
  15. They also lost to the Ravens 19-17 on Sunday Night Football when their offense looked completely lost. People here in Cincinnati wanted Zach Taylor's head on a platter after that one. They're not a roll They just started playing bad teams. They have looked really good in the last game, but that was against the Falcons who have a lot of injuries in a secondary that wasn't good to begin with. Burrow puts up monster stats against bad teams and looks lost when he plays good defenses. Their offense is 80% 50/50 balls to Chase and Higgins (mostly Chase) on the perimeter. When teams take that away. Burrow holds the ball and takes sacks. They have no plan B.
  16. This has to go back to when Diggs played him twice a year in Minnesota, right?
  17. every super bowl winning team has wins like this.
  18. No ugly wins in the NFL.
  19. The Bills had better stack the box against the Jets. Wilson can’t throw.
  20. I can’t believe this is happening.
  21. It’s so frustrating to watch your team get run on like that.
  22. The Green Bay Packers with the reigning MVP at QB is a trap game for no team. Especially at home. If the Bills lose it will be because the Packers figured it out on offense.
  23. Well, now we know that he could have missed the EP without the penalty.
