Joe Burrow has a weekly spot on Cowherd's podcast and is on Collinsworth's podcast all the time. The man also wears actual fur coats. So no, he is not quietly doing his thing. He has a swagger that has infected the whole city and they are going to win multiple Super Bowls because of it.

I was speaking from emotion when I posted that. Of course I don't want Joe Mixon on the Bills, just like I didn't want Incognito. I just have to live here and see how the entire Bengals fan base just excuses what Mixon did. They twist themselves into knots with the whole "he was never charged," "he deserves a second chance," and "she had it coming." It really does show how tribal sports fandom is.

Good take. Too bad that game came after the bye. The Bengals made a huge offensive adjustment over the bye week where they installed all those plays that get the ball out fast to negate poor OL play. You know, all those plays we saw yesterday. Before the bye, Burrow was getting sacked because he held the ball waiting for Chase or Higgins to get open downfield. Now the ball is out in under 2 seconds. That was not just a few plays, but a change in offensive philosophy made midseason. We don't have the creative offensive minds to make those adjustments.

Back in November, someone created a thread about how the Bengals stayed in Cincinnati and worked through their bye week while the Bills hit the beach. At the time, I thought it was nonsense, but in retrospect I think that it demonstrates a difference in focus and coaching. It goes beyond simply "wanting it more" and "work ethic." The Bengals have been really hot since that bye, and it's not just momentum and effort. No, they changed offensive philosophy in the middle of the season. Early in the year, Burrow was getting sacked left and right because he was holding the ball, waiting for downfield plays to Chase and Higgins to develop (sound familiar?). The Browns sacked him 5 times on Halloween night. The Ravens played man coverage but with two high safeties and Burrow looked lost in a 19-17 loss in Baltimore on MNF. After the bye week, they started running those short passes to make up for poor OL play and to beat teams that were taking away the deep passes. So instead of the explosive big plays that Burrow and Chase were known for last year, they started running 7 minute drives. They also stopped forcing the ball to Chase and Higgins and started using all of the offensive players in the passing game. This was a huge change, because the Bengals offense last year was almost entirely deep balls to Chase. That shows the power of having a creative offensive mind at the helm of the franchise.

They can roll their eyes at you all they want, but you speak the truth. Mahomes is the creative one and Burrow is Tom Brady. The Bills are stuck, just like always, behind greatness.

Not just overrated. It’s a detriment. This is a violent game and violence wins.

He would get at least 16 because he would just rip the ball out of the QB’s hands and threaten to punch his sister.

If a Chiefs or Bengals player gets arrested, the team would bribe a judge and pay the legal fees. Look which teams are playing next Sunday.

Besides Diggs, Josh and Milano I can’t think of any. I want guys that will punch you in the face for looking at them. The Bengals have a bunch of those guys (Mixon, Apple, Hilton, Hendrickson) and we have none. You don’t have to like the guys on the team. I have never seen a Mixon jersey here, but they sure as heck are happy to have him today. Exactly. Can we trade for Mixon?

I don’t know how we can get there, given the financial and draft capital that the organisation has invested in these guys that are not tough enough to actually win big football games. The Bills got punched in the mouth by Joe Mixon and just turtled and called for their mommy.

Not just coaching, which is relatively easy to change. That group of guys lacks the violent edge to actually win in this sport. I don’t know how you change that.

Cincinnati has QB and two elite receivers on rookie contracts. That’s why they get to have that. They absolutely nailed two drafts in a row by ignoring conventional wisdom and building the skill positions before the lines. Yesterday they proved that OL doesn’t matter at all. Just load up on the fun stuff and get the ball out quick.

Yep. The Bills have a bunch of "faith and family" guys and they have an actual woman beater. Violence win. Mixon won then game today. Soul search on that one.

I never want to hear about Bills Mafia again. We cant even fill out own stadium.

Nothing matters but winning. We lost with goog guys. They won.with criminals They took on Mixon and Apple and won. We lost. They made the correct choice.

Go into the draft. Find the guy that nobody will draft because he punched out a woman, and draft that guy. We just got beat because the Bengals are willing to do that.

if the Buffalo Bills can't play in the snow, then the coaches need to be fired. Cincinnati is a town that shuts down for 2 inches of snow.

Joe Burrow played as the starting QB in the OHSAA state championship game. For him, that was a bigger game than the one today. in the south and midwest, HS and college football is bigger than the NFL. Learning how to play in those game early in life is good preparation for an NFL playoff game.

Josh Allen is my favorite player. I spent $170 on a shirt with Allen's name on it, but I'm just tired of the losing. The Bengals roster is constructed with guys that won at all levels of football. Winning in pee-wee begets winning in HS and winning in HS begets winning and college. College winners tend to win in the NFL. The Bills have a bunch of guys that have never won at any level but have elite physical traits. Who won today?

Josh Allen? Josh Allen has never won at any level. Joe Burrow wins because he learned how to do it in High School. All the Bengals key players won in high school and college. Our guys did not. I have been positive all year and defended our players, but I'm sick of losing.

You're not wrong. Cincinnati built an actual contender in two off seasons. THEY WERE 2-14 IN 2019!!!. They did it without an actual GM and almost no scouting department. They just drafted proven winners in the skill positions. We are already past the point of no return. The Bills will never win a SB with this group. That window is closed. The Bengals are the class of the AFC because they are full of winners. We've got a bunch of losers with "traits."

Josh is done getting better. He's 26. The Bills have to give him more weapons and a better line, but he is who he is at this point.
