The argument was that the Bills would be a bottom-10 offense with an "average NFL QB." I think that Carr is a good stand-in for "average NFL QB."

I don’t know why you do this unless it’s to clear a roster spot and/or a bit of cap for another move. They also cut two backup OL.

Speculation and discussion on Bills final roster cuts
Low Positive replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
So by my count, the Bills are at 16 cuts as of now. Looks like Shorter probably made the team. -
Just last year, the Jets traded for Robinson after Breece Hall was injured and everyone thought it was a great move. Now he’s can’t crack the Giants roster as a 3rd stringer. Life does come at you fast.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3
Low Positive replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sure, but afterwards you would be subjected to a 2-hour treatise on crypo currency. -
I watched a lot of preseason games this year. The Steelers effort level in preseason was extraordinary. I think a lot of our consternation about that game was due to that. The Bengals have looked really bad in preseason. It means absolutely nothing.

As soon as the starters leave the game, what happens after that doesn’t matter from a QB perspective. Let Kyle Allen play. It makes no difference.

Colts grant Jonathan Taylor’s request to seek trade
Low Positive replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
You don’t have to wonder. The Cots want a 1st and Taylor wants 15 million. So the cost is high coming and going. If he wasn’t demanding 15 million, the Colts wouldn’t be trading him. -
Nate Peterman was 10/18 115yds with a TD against the Colts last week.

When did Steve Tasker become such a homer?
Low Positive replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, and every team in North American sports has this. I realize this is different in European soccer/football coverage where everything is negative all the time. But here what's remarkable is if a broadcaster employed by a team is not a homer. Here in Cincinnati, Marty Brenneman had an open love/hate relationship with the Reds for 4 decades. He was the most negative play-by-play guy in MLB for his entire career. It did get annoying to listen to sometimes. Also, how is it that this forum currently has a huge thread memorializing the king of the homers pinned to the top and also a number of threads complaining about Tasker and other Bills homers in the local media? Do hockey homers get a pass? -
When did Steve Tasker become such a homer?
Low Positive replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every team has a show like OBL. Do you think that Dave Lapham and Dan Horde say anything negative about the Bengals on Bengals Pep Rally every Friday during the season? They were 100% positive even during the 2-14 2019 season. -
I think that its because they told him that he couldn't run in a PS game and you can't take running out of JA's game. It just throws the whole thing off. I think that just knowing that he has the option to take off helps him stay in there and complete plays.

As a Bills fan of the NFL, what keeps your fandom?
Low Positive replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
My Bills and Sabres fandom is my last tie to my hometown. -
Buck/Aikman's "preview" of Bills-Jets on ESPN
Low Positive replied to MWK's topic in The Stadium Wall
So the cynical reading of Steven A’s “sources” report yesterday would be that ESPN needs a narrative about the Bills for the lead up to the game. The Jets are full of em but the Bills are mostly a good team running it back. -
Nice fight in the crowd at the Broncos - 49ers game.

It’s Barstool. -
Game Day Thread? Bills @ Steelers 8/19
Low Positive replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
For people that complaining about preparation. Do you think that teams game plan for preseason games? I got the only thing I wanted; no injury to Josh Allen. -

Practice fight (8/15) - Helmets are swinging
Low Positive replied to Slippery Rubber Mats's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’ve been hitting each other and only each other for the better part of a month. Conflicts are bound to happen. -
Brandon Shell Reportedly Intends to Retire
Low Positive replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Also most college offenses are single-read spread schemes. OLs are not asked to hold a block for nearly as long as they are in the NFL so it makes it a hard position to evaluate. -
Areas/towns to stay for us out of state fans traveling in Oct?
Low Positive replied to Cache's topic in The Stadium Wall
Look for an AirBnB in Elmwood Village. You’ve got dining, the Art Museum and lots of little stores for shopping. -
I’ve watched a lot of these preseason games, and Aiden O’Connell is probably the most impressive rookie QB that i’ve seen. I may be getting Petermaned though.

Kyler Murray working his way back to playing
Low Positive replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hockey and soccer players have been wearing them for a few years now. That’s how they can post how miles a player has run or skated during a game. It also is an extremely accurate heart rate monitor. They also have accelerometers and gyroscopes so you can know how fast a player is running and how hard he’s working in real time during practice or a game. It’s really cool and useful technology that unfortunately looks like a bra. It has to be that way because that’s the least intrusive for the athletes performance. -
Kyler Murray working his way back to playing
Low Positive replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s an GPS vest and players wear them under their jerseys at practice all the time. -
Stroud already out.
