  1. For all my fellow Americans. poundland is of course British for dollar store.
  2. I thought that CBS one was interesting because they mocked FA QB moves to set up their fantasy world where the Pats don't draft a QB. I feel like the mockers are trying to set up their boards to force a WR down to the Chiefs because they want that to happen for entertainment's sake. Also, JJ McCarthy is giving me serious Mac Jones vibes.
  3. Except last year or the year before that. The Bills haven't drafted D-line since they whiffed on Boogie three years ago.
  4. Here is a CBS Mock with a lot of trades that has the Bills taking Troy Franklin at 28. Do we like this one better? It has just as much value as the one the OP linked to. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-mock-draft-steelers-sign-kirk-cousins-and-raiders-add-russell-wilson-creating-fascinating-round-1/ Here is one from USA Today that has the Bills taking Coleman: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2024/02/28/nfl-mock-draft-2024-qb-projections/72778490007/ Bucky Brooks has us taking Coleman too: https://www.nfl.com/news/bucky-brooks-2024-nfl-mock-draft-2-0-washington-takes-jayden-daniels-over-drake-maye-qb-to-denver My point is that none of these mocks are worth getting worked up over.
  5. $55 million per? I think Spotrac's projection here is too high.
  6. He was asked to use Daboll's playbook almost unchanged in year one. Every DC knew what was coming. Then, he tried to implement 12 personnel in year two and Knox got hurt. But the rhythm was bad and he didn't adapt during games. He'll learn from that.
  7. Beane is not doing this evaluation on his own. It has been a failure of an entire scouting and player/personnel staff. But I would argue that he has hit on Groot, AJ, and Oliver. The only real miss of his high-round drafting on the DL is Boogie. Also, it is a failure that is shared with alll 32 NFL teams. Do you know that there were four DTs drafted before Chris Jones? And Jones played in the SEC, so it's not like he slipped through the cracks. One of the guys drafted before Jones was Robert Nkemdiche, who is currently in the CFL and another was former Bill Vernon Butler. Outside of a few can't-miss prospects, it is a very inexact science.
  8. Don't say that too loudly, because the TBD two-man Ken Dorsey Defense Force will come after you. One guy defends him so hard that I think that it may be Ken himself. To be fair, I think that Ken got a bit of a raw deal in Buffalo. He'll learn from his mistakes and he'll be better the next time he gets to call plays.
  9. Zach Wilson doesn't beat us. Salah's defense does. He admitted after that week 1 win (by the Jets) that he knew the plays that Dorsey called before the ball was snapped. If you think back on those Jets losses. they all involved multiple turnovers by the Bills as well as stalled drives. Salah may be a bit of a meathead and a bad HC, but he is a great defensive mind.
  10. I just watched the video of Joe Douglas announcing this. Is Joe Douglas and Brian Daboll the same guy?
  11. It was a protest vote in KC. They were promised locker room upgrades that never happened.
  12. Teams keep signing him to the PS, looking at him for a few weeks, and then cutting him. The last were the Vikings at the end of last season. One would hope that this experience has been humbling for him, because lord knows he needed it.
  13. They would throw him a anchor, but he's probably drop it.
  14. I hadn't thought of that, but now that I have what I want is almost that. Wilson to the Giants and leading them to the SB only to face the Bills. In the SB, Zach turns back into a pumpkin and throws three pick-sixes. Bills win and both Jets and Giants fans cry.
  15. We can laugh, but I want Zach Wilson and Mac Jones to turn into productive NFL QBs. That would be torture for Jets and Pats fans and I'm here for that.
  16. I didn't know that but that would be why. These things are like student evaluations of college classes/professors. Sometimes they have legitimate complaints, but most of the time they are complaining because the class was challenging and/or they don't expect a good grade.
  17. I like the Dobbins idea. He's just had bad luck injuries, but they have all been to his right leg. He should be ready to come back by TC, but the medical exam would be key.
  18. The Bengals will pick OL. They have to.
  19. My guess is that the travel grades were skewed by the London game.
  20. One thing to note is that the disclaimer at the bottom notes that the survey was in the field from August 26th to November 16th. So all those positive responses from Miami came before the December collapse when they were boat racing teams. The B- about Stefansky came before the Joe Flacco-led surge. But also interesting is that McDermott's "A" came BEFORE the Dunne article. I guess he never lost the locker room.
  21. I went and looked her up on Insta. She Thicc.
  22. I don't know. Losing the Stanley Cup on home ice in triple OT on a goal that shouldn't have counted when the Sabres hit one off the crossbar in the 2nd OT was pretty hard too.
  23. And to think RB was the most important player on the team just a decade ago.
  24. He probably thought that he had an autopay set up and didn't. That happened to me more than once.
