  1. 2015 Jordan Mattthews WR: 85 - 997 Zach Ertz TE: 75 - 853 Brent Celek TE: 27 - 398 Nelson Agholor WR: 23 - 287 Riley Cooper WR: 21 - 397 Miles Austin WR: 13 - 224 Trey Burton: 3 - 54 2016 Zach Ertz TE: 78 - 816 Jordan Matthews WR: 73 - 804 Trey Burton TE: 37 - 327 Nelson Aghalor WR: 36 - 365 Green Beckham, Dorial: 36 - 392 Brent Celek TE: 14 - 155 Josh Huff WR: 13 - 72 Nº1 target? I don't know, numbers says he's close to it, number #1 WR, no doubt about it.
  2. When Hogan was here we used him as a chain mover, a guy in the slot that could get open and find the soft spots in zone. He wasn't very good at it, not sure handed and frequently not being able to find the 1st down marker. He goes to NE and they used him as a deep threat, it worked for them. Me thinks that we misused him while he was here so it's a moot point to compare team scenarios. Gilleslee could have helped this team against the Panthers, he's very good when Shady was out.
  3. of course they were, but the narrative here is that they suck. Matthews has caught as WR 1 in Philadelphia, 85 passes from Bradford & Sanchez in 2015 and 73 passes from rookie Wentz in 2016. Granted, the total yardage could be better (11.7 YPR), but the guy can and does get open. it's just a matter of throwing him the ball.
  4. great, bring the whole team down to justify the shortcomings of one player.

  6. I would undertand this thread if McD keeps clapping like a maniac when the team is down 30 points (Baco forbid) but it doesn't apply to the game we saw last Sunday.
  7. except probably 8 teams, OL play in this league has to be below average.
  8. great wins the game by two scores, good would have won the game in the last play, bad is what Tyrod was on Sunday. This is a passing league and no matter how good a defense is there are always yards and points to be had.
  9. plant and throw, simple as that, maybe he completes the pass, maybe he doesn't, worst case scenario? the QB doesn't even attempt to pass, tucks the ball and run.
  10. would it hurt to play the rookie McDermott at RT a couple of series? see what you got, or bring someone else.
  11. people doesn't want him sitting on the pocket, people want him to know the playbook, know where his WRs will be and throw it to them with rythm and anticipation, that's all
  12. I don't know if we win with Peterman, but if the gameplans going forward are like the one we saw today, I prefer to see the rookie QB at the helm instead of the 7 year veteran. If you're playing TT, open things up, run the option with Shady, move the pocket on designed plays, we know he's a superb athlete, use him as such.
  13. you're probably right, we shall see if that's the case with the 22 film review.
  14. no doubt, our passing game could use some Buffout.
  15. I believe it's called forward pass.
  16. so, if the run gamed doesn't work, what is the other option to move the ball and score points? I'll wait...
  17. The Watkins trade is behind us, let's move on. What bothers me is that we have to wait to the final drive to attempt that kind of pass, it's one thing to play with your cards close the vest (running the ball and not ask TT to do too much) but you have to open things up a bit to win close games, or any game for that matter.
  18. this is how I feel regarding TT. I still root for him but I think he has already reached his ceiling.
  19. Of course we can, but if you start a thread calling the clock management an embarrasment how serious can you take said thread?
  20. Stupid Rex would have been in the playoffs had he not fired Schwartz. What a dumb !@#$.
  21. embarrasing? hyperbole much? Embarrasing? Far from it.
  22. not perfect, but it's the same coaching staff that has the team within a score to win the game on the road, so I can't complain much. The OL was dominated on the run game and was shaky in pass pro.
