  1. well they had to have Van den Bosch, with two bad knees he fits the bill.
  2. if we don't get Matt Jones, I'd take this guy late in day 2 or as UFA: Tommy Manus WR Morgan State http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/playerpro...tommymanus.html
  3. Put all your furniture outside and she'll probably freak out; then she'll pull a hamstring moving the sofa back to the living room.
  4. http://www.post-gazette.com/steelers/20030...teele0815p2.asp "He sees the hole, he hits it and he has good feel for setting up his blocks," said offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey. "And his pass protection has been very good. Whether it's 7 on 7 or team period, he's been outstanding." http://www.collegefootballnews.com/Confere...his_Preview.htm Best Offensive Player: Senior RB Dante Brown. He's big, fast and very powerful with the ability to bowl over defenders and the quickness to run away from them.
  5. We already have a former Steeler in the roster, Dante Brown, MM stole him from Pittsburgh's PS. The guy is 6'1'' - 215 pounds and allegedly a fast back. I remember Cowher tried to trade him last year because they had the Bus, Staley and Haynes already on the roster, but there weren't any suitors even after having good preseason games/stats. I think he'll be given the chance to the backup along with Shaud and a guy drafted in the lower rounds or UFA.
  6. Mr. Boddy: In your hands, you each have a lethal weapon. If you denounce me to the police, you will also be exposed and humiliated. I'll see to that in court. But, if one of you kills Ron Mexico now, no one but the seven of us will ever know. He has the key to the front door, which he said would only be opened over his dead body. I suggest we take him up on that offer. The only way to avoid finding yourselves on the front pages is for one of you to kill Ron Mexico. NOW.
  7. Forrest Gump: We were like peas and carrots, Ron Mexico and I.
  8. Tyler Durden: Our fathers were our models for Ron Mexico. If they bailed, what does that tell you about Ron Mexico? You have to be prepared for the possibility that Ron Mexico does not like you.
  9. Don't the Cards pick at #8?
  10. I think Brad Jonhson played in Europe, but I'm not sure. Anyone?
  11. MM already said in an article (I'll try to find it) that Big Mike will not be moved to LT.
  12. TD will fill a need only if that player is the BPA, that is why I think that if either Baas or Elton Brown are not available with the #55 he'll draft the BPA in that spot. After those two, the next OL that would grade as an option at #55 is Ole Miss C Chris Spencer. I'd consider OTs Colmer (with that rare disease) and Adam Terry to be reachs by the time of our first pick. I'd be happy with the Spencer pick but he'll not be an inmediate performer but a contributor if we don't resign Teague next year.
  13. If you can share some info about these guys it would be great: Watter Curry DE Albany State Marcus White DE Murray State Jimmy St Louis TE Murray State Patrick Body S Toledo Tommy Manus WR Morgan State Daniel Legger SS Colorado Mines Russ Babe LB Minnesota Duluth
  14. All his life Henry was the underdog, in school and mostly in College. He was always told he wasn't good enough and always came up on top. When he finally thought, after a Pro Bowl year and playing hurt, that he found his place in the Football world, TD drafted McGahee. His first offseason as a pro the guy worked very hard and came to his sophomore year in great condition, same thing with his second offseason. You can say the guy isn't smart or he fumbles too much but you can't say the guy doesn't like or thrive on competition. Last year the guy had a bad year, no doubt about it, but the reason is, IMO, he wasn't able to manage the whole situation mentally. I don't like his reactions and how he approached this situation but I understand why he's doing it.
  15. yep I read Math Roth took him to school in the Senior Bowl. I'm all for drafting the guy, but not to throw him at LT in his rookie year.
  16. I think this is the kind talent TD likes to keep. Young, healthy and already a Pro bowler. So I think he'll try hard to make a deal before he hits FA.
  17. Chris Simms, taken in the 3rd round of 2003 draft. I don't know if he's related to Phil.
  18. he played RT in College protecting a left QB. (I think it was Simms)
  19. You are correct Ravens Sign Rolle to 6 Year Deal OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Cornerback Samari Rolle agreed to a six-year contract Monday with the Baltimore Ravens, who last week lost Gary Baxter to the Cleveland Browns. http://theredzone.org/news/showarticle.asp?ArticleID=2386
  20. he da man. It's Sape time!!
  21. I don't see a rookie coming in and start at LT that I agree but if don't get Shelton I see a guy like Barnes or Terry stepping at RT with Mike Williams making the switch to LT.
  22. http://snap.stats.com/stats/nflinfo/player...=5515&Submit=Go http://www.nflplayers.com/players_network/...k.aspx?ID=30138 http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/players/5515/
  23. LB Simmons was release by the Seahawks
  24. Best player available. This is and always will be the best approach coming draft day. If the guy you think is the better out there by the time you pick you get him. Once you start looking at filling the needs, that's when you start reaching for guys. If TD&Co feel Matt Jones is the guy they will draft him.
