  1. I agree!! Here's to us finally having someone to really despise again to heat the rivalry back up a little bit
  2. It all depends for me, Winter time : Smithwicks, Sam Adams (I love Oktoberfest), Blue Moon Summer Time: Corona, Bud Light, Sam Adams Summer Brew
  3. The guy was sitting on a gold mine and just walked away??? LA Roughriders, nuff said
  4. .....and their comments must be pre-approved by a board of scholars so chosen by the NFL
  5. He'll hit 30 this year and I think the knock on him was he was losing his giddy up....oh well it can't hurt to see if he can find his game again

  7. Ladies and Gentlemen, The show has reached a new low........in all seriousness though, what's the deal with his eye?
  8. I agree...it's not like he walked into a crowded room and was like "everybody listen up, I am the best back in the NFL". A reporter asked him if he felt he was better than LT (who is widely regarded as the best back in the NFL) and Willis said yes. If Willis said no, I think LT is stronger, faster, and better than me then what do you have?? He's definetly taken a beating for something taken totally out of context
  9. It's probably all muscle, but it's still 20 more pounds on the joints and ligaments
  10. There's a big difference between walking around like a bunch of lemmings with "blinders on" and being optimistic (realistic or not) for the beginning of a new season. If we all took such a glass is half empty everything about this team sucks attitude then there would never be any successes. You would never see an underdog pull off an upset, David would never beat Goliath, a fifth round draft choice would never be a mutliple Super Bowl MVP, and the sun would never rise because it knows it's just going to have to set again in 12 hours. The point isn't about calling out every deficiency and ranting about how you want the new shiny toy that your neighbor just bought. It's about strapping it on and going at it, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but you have a blast along the way. I consider myself to be an educated man, and just because I have a little faith and optimism that Maybe JP can come around and maybe we can stop the run this year, I don't think that qualifies me as a sleeping mullet. Now we have all had to watch a deplorable line for the last decade, and a rotating carousel of coaches and QB's so you're reason for apprehension is not unfounded. However to be a complete defeatest to every new move that is made or isn't made makes for a long season. It's football, no one holds a gun to your head to watch it. Sometimes you have to let the dust settle and you're surprised at who you see still standing.
  11. It's not fair to pit NYC statistics vs Buffalo statistics, they're two completely different situations all together. Yes NYC is by far the more prosperous bigger brother than Buffalo, and yes it generates exponentially more tax dollars than does Western New York, and the fact that this is even being debated is lunacy. But to say that Buffalo is not entitled to tax dollars that may have been generated in other portions of the state is also lunacy. Capital improvement projects to the NYS thruway across the State have been funded by moneys collected on the I-190 in and out of Buffalo, it's the nature of the beast. To say that Buffalo deserves no economic boost for the Bills, which is a tremendous player in determining the areas total quality of life is misguided. Seeing how JDG is in Maryland, how did you feel about the State legislature pouring millions of dollars into the Baltimore Inner Harbor and how the outlying counties felt about the funds being used to rejuvenate a once dying city.
  12. I hope that I never again forget that they don't sell beer before noon on Sundays
  13. I do profess that the following statement rings true no matter what language it may fall within, Those who seek to mask their true message use a channel by which the masses find unsuitable or not able to be ascertained. The greatest minds sought not to use self proliferation as a viable means of conquest, rather they relied on the strength of the message, not the fortitude of the verbage on which it is carried. You leave your communique open for interpretation rather than displaying a clear stance by which your notions can be debated.
  14. I think you have all forgotten that Marv is too old, Jauron is too smart, Losman is too young, and the Referees are all on the other teams payrolls.... 15. Looks like the bye is week 8......very nice PS Circle Nov 19th....Clements/Mcgee vs. Moulds
  16. I like it........31-0 Bledsoe throws for 340, except this time Reed will catch the flea flicker
  17. I've said this in past posts.....with Nates current franchise tag number we are still around 14 million under the cap...I say we frontload the heck out of his deal, give him something like a 15 million dollar first year number since we have the cap room and then his following salaries will be in line with what we can afford with future caps
  18. why do I get the impression that thesaurus.com should be listed in the works cited portion of this post
  19. I agree wholeheartedly with this statement......Jerry Gray was a waste of space as coordinator....last season was the only time he stood on his own two feet as he had GW (crappy head coach, great Defensive coordinator) and then he had Dick Lebeau with him after that. Gray constantly had his guys out of position and essentially having to play multiple roles on one snap back there which led to both hesitation and being out of position. Different ballgame this year, I think Moulds puts up a 4 catches for 46 yards kind of day against us.
  20. I love this time of year....there's so many reactionary results.........like if the Niners love Davis then that means Hawk falls to us, I'm just really happy that we will be getting a really good football player no matter what at #8, or several really good players if we trade down.
  21. Who knows....maybe he realized that working out and playing football for $50,000 a week is a lot better than working at McDonalds and being out of the league.......This guy could be on a mission.....or he could be a tub of goo......it can't hurt to find out though
  22. I understand the draft positioning and how you can add value through adding picks, but if the guy can be an anchor at left tackle for you then what is "too high". If you think the guy can be a stud player for you then you grab him if you don't believe he'll be there for your next pick.
  23. This is the greatest idea since.......well since beer was invented I was just running some cap numbers.....with 10 Home games (2 pre-season) that comes out to $1.6 million per game for free beer. With 72,000 seats and 2$ a beer (which we could get cheaper for buying in bulk) that equals just over 11 beers per person per game. You want home field advantage.......you got it!
  24. I swear if I had to watch 80 Devils games a year I would have prayed for the lockout to still be going strong
