  1. Not unless you know how much glass is included in the stadium in general. I'm betting the cost of the glass they planned on using wasn't cheap either so the question is how much more would it hv been to include the correct glass from the start. How are the financial issues of this country even relevent when we are talking about a 1.1 Billion dollar stadium being built? Talk about ridiculous and idiotic.
  2. What's ridiculous about it? The stadium built as is will be a giant glass death trap for birds who can't see the glass. Saying its to protect them from themselves makes its sound like they are somehow at fault which is completely false. The only reason the cost is 25-60 million is due to the amount of glass they decided to include in the design of the stadium. A different design and the cost wouldn't be that high.
  3. Could Swartz end up in Chicago with Fox? Looks like a good fit as they already run a 4-3. I was sure he would end up with the Giants once he was released from the Bills but they decided to do back to the future with Spags. I really like Schwartz and feel like he got a raw deal out of this
  4. I actually like the Colts with the upset this weekend. My only concern is Colts having a letdown after winning on the road over Peyton and the Broncos but the Pats really dont do anything for me. Unfortunately in the other game I see Seattle beating the Packers. GB is my second favorite team but I dont think their defense is good enough to stop Lynch and their offense has been kind of flat the last few games a lot of which is prob due to Rodgers injury. They are also no where near the same team on the road they are at home...and where has Jordy been? Seattle 27 Packers 16 Indy 31 Patriots 27
  5. I really wish and feel like I should be more excited about Rex Ryan but Im just not. Rex is getting way too much of a free pass for the last 4 years of mostly bad football. I dont completely buy into the blaming the front office and GM excuse, Rex was still the head coach and what Ive witnessed on the field the last couple years has not been good. The merry go round at QB this season was just ridiculous. What was the point of switching to Vick and even more stupid what was the point of switching back to Geno? Geno deserved to be benched in the first Bills game but the Jets were not going anywhere so what was the point of starting Vick the following week? The Jets were an absolute mess last season which Rex has to take some of the blame for. Im confident like everyone else Rex will have this defense playing lights out but I am not thrilled with changing defenses yet again. It feels a lot like taking a step back that they didnt need to take in order to step forward. On the other hand looking at what teams like SF and Oakland have done which reminds me of what Bills used to do and I feel a little better about Rex. I do like the Greg Roman hire though and look forward to some smash mouth football which I have been begging for Marrone to do especially with this defense.
  6. so you think moving up a whopping 3 spots in the defensive rankings automatically means they make the playoffs? it will again come down to the offense and mainly the QB whoever that may be
  7. It amazes me how people continue to suggest moving Glenn inside to guard. Glenn is obviously best suited for LT and has played well there. Henderson had a good season at RT and will only get better giving the Bills two young bookends for possibly the next decade so why in the world would anyone even suggest changing that? This team needs guards, not tackles trying to play guard but true guards. Guys who have no problem pulling and gettout out in front on screens. Im all for signing a guard in FA and drafting another fairly high.
  8. Hughes had 8 sacks his last year with Indy and for most part couldn't get on the field bc of Freeney and Mathis so how exactly did he stink? Revis did not sign a one year deal with Pats but thinking is his he will be released due to his high cap number
  9. These type of hires just baffle me. Will either of these guys last more than two years? I'm not a Bowles fan but at least he has potential to be good. Del Rio is a clown who was accused of a poor work ethic the only time he has been a head coach and I never even heard of the guy the niners are promoting. Is this really the best either of these teams could do? At least the Bills are no longer in that boat hiring clowns like Gailey and Jauron
  10. Just bc he was the OC doesnt mean he called the plays
  11. why? Stevie is going to end up with Gailey and the Jets, guaranteed
  12. how is he the main reason they have the first pick when he started less than half their games?
  13. I think Schwartz is going to end up in Washington or maybe Giants. It wouldn't surprise me if he had some hard feelings towards Marrone as he prob would hv been back in consideration for HC jobs after another strong season with Bills but will now hv to start over with a less talented team. I am really starting to think Marrone will have to return to college to get another head coaching gig which I'm sure is not what he had in mind when he opted out from Bills
  14. What does getting 7 ft of snow in 45 mins have to do with anything? its not like they had to play in it so that storm is basically irrelevant as well as any storm like it as the game simply wouldn't be played Peyton hasn't displayed any side effects to the neck surgeries he had 3-4 years ago and the injuries he suffered this year are not serious so I don't see what they have to do with anything either. It will come down to if he wants to continue playing and if he does for how much longer which at most will be 2 years. Would you really not take 2 years of Peyton Manning with this defense? He would make the Bills not only a playoff contender but a serious super bowl contender
  15. This is exactly why I want the Bills to sign Mark Ingram who is still young rather than use a draft pick on a RB. Ingram will prob get a 3 year deal at around 3 mil per maybe even less
  16. Did you watch Richardson when he was starting at LG? He was brutal and didn't look anything like a road grader to me Since Kuoandjio never saw the field we have no idea how he progressed during the season but the fact that he couldn't even get active on game day doesn't say a lot for the second round pick. I'm really hoping Kuoandjio can contend for one of the guard spots next year but at this point this team can't coubt on either one of these guys and will need to add at least 2 maybe 3 guards this offseason.
  17. One thing you can count on is the Jets being the Jets. I think Bowles is amazingly overrated and don't see how he is an improvement over Rex. I also just don't get the Gailey love from a lot of Bills fans. Were we watching the same games? The two comeback games were great but other than that what was there? He is an arrogant coach who thinks the system is more important than the players and relies way too much on the pick play by the slot receiver throwing the slant to the outside receiver. How many times did we all scream as he continued to call pass plays on third and short when the two best players on offense were Fred and Spiller? I do however like that he designs plays to get receivers open instead of having them run routes hoping they get open but overall he calls a lot of the same plays over and over most of which take place within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage. I can easily see Stevie joining Gailey though if he ends up being cut by the 49ers which would make things even more interesting.
  18. Bettis is one of my all time favorite players, for a big guy he could flat out move I like steak too
  19. Ive been mentioning Mark Ingram as an option for awhile now as he has played well going back to last season. I still like Bryce but if they did sign Ingram and resign Spiller there really wouldn't be a need or place for him.
  20. And yet he still has a below .500 record as a head coach
  21. One step forward two steps back I was hoping things would change with new ownership and I hope I'm wrong but this is a typical Bills move to change things after finally showing improvement which is just stupid to me How many teams would change a top 5 defense?
  22. Marrone's decision to opt out not only impacted the team but also all of the assitant coaches he was so worried about who have been in limbo all this time. Wonder how guys like Hackett and Schwartz feel about Marrone these days.
  23. If the ball moves and touches the ground then its not a catch, period. The ball can touch the ground as long as the player possesses the ball which isnt the case if its moving. Crossing the goal line doesnt automatically mean a TD as the player still has to show possession before crossing the goal line. He also did not take 3 steps with possession as the ball was still moving during his steps. Not once did Dez bring the ball in to secure it. Chris Carter was on mike and mike and explained this pretty well while showing replays. He stated if the ball is moving its not a catch and at no point was the ball not moving and once it hit the ground and popped up it wasnt a catch
  24. If they don't stretch for goal line they can't score the touchdown and if they don't score the touchdown then they can't do a stupid please notice me I was the one who scored dance
  25. I would rather sign Mark Ingram from the Saints and use the draft pick on another position
