Shadeur is having his number retired at Colorado () and is getting drafted behind Dart, Shough, Milroe, Gabriel, and God knows who else, if he even gets drafted at all.
Some people say it's just the way things are today, but I think that character and how people carry themselves still means something. There are a bunch of stories out there about Deion and Shadeur. Deion publicly saying he didn't want his players going to certain situations. Stories about players basically being forced to attend rap concerts. The whole situation is crazy, especially with all these QB's going before him. I think everything else matters.
I like Ayomanor, Royals, and Thornton as WR's for Josh.
Watching how Royals runs his routes and his running style actually reminds me of Diggs.
Elic Ayomanor reminds me of Gabe Davis with better hands.
Thornton reminds me a bit of DJ Chark coming out of college, but he's even bigger.
This is getting to the point that I almost feel bad for Shadeur. I may not like his father, and I don't like the circus, nor his antics at times. But man, if this doesn't humble him.
Revel was being talked about as a first and comes in during the third
I think this shows how NFL FO's view things versus us and the rest of these "experts"
I actually love this pick at this point. 6'6", 264lbs, an explosive athlete, plays the run well, and the he gets after the QB for real. Him and Groot will be as formidable a duo we have had at DE in a long time. Just my 2.
The talent doesn't warrant the circus that surrounds him. He is also limited athletically, with average arm strength. The talk around him reminded me of Malik Willis, and Willis was a 3rd Round pick.
They could have taken Alexander if that's the case. He was wrecking guys at the Senior Bowl by the accounts I've seen.
PS - I DID draft Sanders when I was the 49ers in the TSW Movk Draft
