The call on defense had then 15 yards back on 3rd down in his 💩 zone philosophy defense that allowed the 1st down.

We are going nowhere with McDermott. He's calling the defense, playing whatever personnel he wants, and we blow. This team very well could miss the Playoffs. I hope McDermott and Beane are gone when it's all said and done.

There are some interesting guys who will be in the draft. The couple guys I would really want, will be gone long before we will pick. Jordyn Tyson and Carnell Tate are those guys. You also have some intriguing prospects in David Bell from Louisville and Denzell Boston from Washington. I like Bell better of the two. He is big, runs a decent route tree, and he's got an extra gear to leave defenders in the dust. You also have Chris Brazell of Tennessee and KC Concepcion at Texas A&M. I like Concepcion, and think he will be there when we pick. He plays inside or outside and shakes defenders all the same. Even with a mid college QB, he's still putting up solid numbers in the SEC. If you have a good offensive mind who can get him in space, he's gonna do some damage. There are options this year, but it's top heavy. By round 3, most people worth drafting at the position will be gone. Not sure where Chase Roberts from BYU will fall. I think it will depend on his Combine performance, but he seems to have good spacial awareness and knows how to leverage defenders. He might be worth a 4th or 5th. 2027 is going to be the draft for WR's with Jeremiah Smith, Ryan Williams, and Cam Coleman.

Who it will be, and what Terry will do, I have no idea. But I believe he is going to shake the tree this offseason. It could be both guys that end up gone. In my opinion, IT SHOULD be both guys that are gone. I would have serious look at John McKay and Nolan Teasley for GM. Then, if we aren't bringing in McVay, or Lane Kiffin, or Cignetti, or Klint Kubiak, I would see about finding a way to get Daboll back in the fold. I don't know what that would look like, but I feel like Daboll was a scapegoat of sorts in NY. He turned Daniel Jones into a solid QB and forced the Giants FO to have to pay him because of what he did with him. When they let Saquon walk, it was all downhill. They get Dart and Skat this year, and the offense started to click with them on the field. This was even without Nabers. Josh grew exponentially when he was OC and had 3 of his best 4 years under him. Should he be the HC? Extremely hesitant with that, but I'd absolutely take him over McDermott. Flame away all you want, but I would because I know the offense would be humming again.

Prior to the draft I was screaming that I did not want us to draft Coleman. Xavier Legette was my guy. He isn't lighting the world on fire right now either, but that is who I wanted. The Panthers trade with us and take Legette. The next day we take Coleman. I was pretty ticked off about it. Then we went through the rest of that draft and didn't take another WR. I was even more ticked off about that when we repeatedly passed on Franklin. Still, Keon showed some flashes last year. I started to get some hope that I was wrong, and he would at least be a Gabe Davis type of contributor. The Tennessee and Seattle games were good performances. Then he got cheap-shotted by Poyer and hasn't been the same since. He had the big game against Baltimore and he hasn't had more than 4 catches, which was only once, or more than 46 yards in a game since. He's averaged 3 catches and 26 yards a game since week one. Pretty underwhelming to say the least. Then, on top of that, we've all seen the miscues in his route running, how him and Josh just are not on the same page. Maybe this will be a wake up call for him. Maybe it won't. Maybe they will ship him out in the offseason for a 5th or 6th. We shall see.

They may not go sideways, so to speak. Maye is in year two, Henderson is in year one, the defense has a good mix and is solid, Vrabel is a good coach, and McDaniels is back to doing his thing. They are also expected to have $65M+ in FA next year. Things are truly looking up in NE and I think Diggs will be happy to be along for that ride.

Yeah, me too. But if the Steelers trade you before your rookie deal is up, when they could have paired you with Metcalf for old man Rodgers, then you know something ain't quite right.

This ain't gonna happen. No one is giving Brady a HC gig. Still, he needs to go , along with McDermott, and Daboll needs to return.

Given his age, and his type of injury, the fact Diggs came back so quickly to play at the level he is right now is pretty remarkable. He's been a full go since TC, and that was just 10 months removed his ACL tear. He is the leading receiver for NE and is on pace for another 1,000 yard season. Good for him. Yes, his time was done here. He had become as much a detriment to the locker room as he was prior to being jettisoned by Minnesota. The difference is Minnesota was able to flip our pick into Justin Jefferson. Our pick ended up becoming another defensive lineman.

I mean, the talent is there for sure and he would definitely help the offense, but the guy is a headcase. How much of that will come out even more if you give him big $$$? It would make me nervous for us to give him that contract.
