  1. That is also pending the results of free agency and who we sign along the offensive line. Jon Runyan and Kevin Mawae, is what i hear from "deep inside the Bills organization".
  2. I've said it before and i'll say it again, the Bills should trade down and get Broderick Bunkley! The way i see it is that the Detroit Lions pick immediately after the Bills and they will more than likely be looking at quarterbacks. So we trade down with a team who wants a quarterback like Cutler or Young, which ever falls that low, and we extort picks out of them the way the Patriots and Jaguars extorted picks out of us. Ultimately the Bills would have to fall to around 12-15 overall, and then we get Bunkley and we have another pick in a later round that we could put to good use on a safety, center, tight end, or a stud defensive end. If you are rebuilding your team i think this is the way you need to go.
  3. Amen. Ralph is like that grandfather everybody had that although he never said the right thing and rambles on, you still love him to death. Ralph Wilson made Buffalo Bills football, gave us all something to B word about in our spare time, and helped structure this league the way it is, it's about time that everybody realizes that.
  4. I believe that the penalty for tampering is the loss of a draft pick on the first day, or something to that affect.
  5. I think that the fact that Watson is willing to work in the weeks before the draft means that he looks for short cuts. I think he didn't try on the football field because he knew that he could just impress at the combine and still climb into the 1st or second round. I think it is all about money for a guy like this and his main goal for his career is not to win a championship or elevate his level of play, but instead elevate the amount of money in his pocket. His main goal is to be drafted high and then turn into Gilbert Brown. Forgive me if you think differently, but that's just how i see it.
  6. If we were to trade down i would want to draft Broderick Bunkley with the pick. The guy is a beast. At the combine he benched 225, 44 times. When he was at Florida State, he broke some kind of record for most tackels for a loss. If we trade down, we better take a serious look at Bunkley because i don't care what people say, he will not be there in the second round.
  7. There are way too many variables that have the possibility of coming into play there. I still think Euhus might be able to pull something off, and i would and i woldn't be disappointed if the Bills didn't draft a tight end.
  8. Maddux brings nothing to the table but the plague of sucking personel that has seemed to migrate from Pittsburgh to Buffalo.
  9. I think Davis is the best choice at Tight End for anyone in the draft, as the popular consensus agrees. For some reason i am souring on the idea of Ngata. I know it is a need position but i think we will be picking up Pickett without a problem. The guy that i believe is going to slip under the radar into probably the third or fourth round is Dominique Byrd from USC. The man is an absolute giant and provided a large target down field for Leinart. In 2005 alone he did not have that great of numbers, but when a team has Reggie Bush, ask yourself how many times are they going to be going to anyone but? He had 29 receptions for 306 yards, and a long of 52 yards. No touchdowns scored last year, and he is a little short a 6'3", but also weighs 260 lbs. I would prefer Davis as of right now, there is no doubt about that as i think he is a person that could line up at WR on certain plays and also be an outlet for Losman on most plays, and could still get the ball up field. But if we don't get him and we get something of need or trade down, I think a guy like Byrd could help the Bills a lot.
  10. Agreed. With the looking at all the positions in the draft. It's just that he will be looking at some more than others. I think Losman is not a bust seeing as it was only his first year in the drivers seat. We all know that sometimes teenagers get into accidents when they first start driving, but that doesn't mean that they will never be good drivers. What makes a teenager a good driver is learning from the experience of their accident(s) and using what they have learned to better themselves. That is what will make or break Losman, along with his stamina from the negativity from most of the people in Buffalo.
  11. "No one is saying he's the best quarterback available, are they? I still think Leinart should go first. What I'm saying is that these so called negative sides that you are posting just aren't there. In fact, a lot of what the media is saying about Vince isn't true if you have been following his career, and the things he HAS had some problems with they aren't talking about." I know you aren't saying that, what the innitial argument was that we should trade up for Vince Young because Losman has some how been labeled a bust. I wasn't accusing you of saying he was the best quarterback available, i think you took it that way with my first post.
  12. I had no problem with any of your views. What pissed me off was your reference to me as a racist. The fact that i take umbrage at it is eveidence enough that i am in fact not a racist. Sorry you are a big Vince Young fan, but i think that because of that, your view is a little jaded as to his strengths and weaknesses. All an NFL team would have to do to stop Vince Young is go into a zone defense and not have any more people than you have to covering the deep ball, seeing as he can't get it there and a smart offensive coordinatior would realize that he can't make the deep throws. So all you would have to do is have people no deeper than lets say 20 yards. I respect your opinion and i think Young has the potential to be okay. I am just pointing out some of the flaws with him. That is not a crime or stupidity.
  13. If it were me as the GM, i would more than likely pursue Runyan or Tank Williams
  14. One more thing, if Young really had the arm that BlueFire thinks, than why didn't he work out at the combine. I think someone is hiding something.
  15. When Vince Young becomes a free agent a few years from now because the team that picks him finds out that he is a bust, i will laugh so hard. What if i were to tell you i were "black", what would you have to say about that? Just the fact that you think i am white and making a comment like that is a racist comment. As to the idea that there is no favor towards african american quarterbacks - for those of us who wish to keep this politcally correct - and the NFL wanting them to succeed, just look at Michael Vick. Over reated. Just so you know as to how the voting system works in college football, the media votes on the teams. The media, incase you don't watch ESPN or read any other newspapers, do not know a damn thing about sports. Discussing the fact that the Big 12 is good, I point to the National Championship game between LSU and Oklahoma. It is easy to be the most accurate quarterback in the Big 12 when you are throwing short passes to fast receivers. Anybody can score a 16 on the Wonderlic test when they are taken aside and patted on the back, tutored, and given the same test again. There is no doubt that Vince Young had a good performance in the National Championship game. But the fact of the matter is that before the game, Mel Kiper and draft experts were saying Young would not transfer well to the NFL very well. Now just because he rushes for three touchdowns against a USC team that was beaten by Notre Dame, does not mean that he is suddenly the best quarterback available. In an NFL quarterback you want a guy who does not always run and has the ability to throw the ball deep, and be accurate. If you want Vince Young, you need to consider the idea of the winds in Ralph Wilson Stadium and ask yourself if Vince Young could hack it there. Example, the Arizona Cardinals game last year that i attended where the hail and ice were raining down sideways. So it turns out that much like the public school system, your judgement and evaluation of the situation absolutely blows, because you're narrow minded and don't think of the possibility that there is a possibility of the NFL wanting a successful african american quarterback. For example, i point to Warren Moon. Did you hear his acceptance speach after he took Thurman Thomas' spot in the Hall of Fame? Don't tell me this isn't a racial thing, you stupid simple minded jack@$$. Sorry to everybody for ruining this thread but i hate people like this.
  16. He might just be saying smaller DT's to try to throw people off, so if anything i would say there is a very good chance that we draft Ngata.
  17. Wow that is possibly some of the dumbest sh*t i have ever heard. With the exception of the Losman comment. 1. Young has a weak arm and if you have a weak arm in the NFL, you are not going to have success. 2. In case you weren't paying attention in the naitonal championship game, Young did not throw one touchdown all game. He is Michael Vick with a weaker arm. 3. "The guy has great football instincts", so you have anylized the game film of all of his games and came to this conclusion with your expert opinion. The fact that you are buying into the hype of another African American quarterback just shows your lack of football knowledge. 4. He has the I.Q. of a state worker! 5. Big 12 football the best? Just because Miami and Florida State had off years, does not mean that Young was not beating up on a bunch of farm boys from Nebraska or Oklahoma. 6. I was just thinking about this question for those of you who think the Bills should trade up. When was the last time Buffalo traded up in the first round? This is not Madden football people! 7. Atleast you haven't given up on Losman. That's more than i can say for a lot of people on this website. I think you dumb @$$e$ need to stop being so retarded. It makes you sound ignorant, mainly because Losman played, what, 8 games.
  18. For anybody even discussing the Bills getting Leinart and giving up on Losman after the few games he started is a simple minded fool. Did SOPRANO start this link too? This is complete and total amatuer hour.
  19. I feel shame. Especially since Moulds turned down another offer
  20. My dog takes bigger craps than Roscoe Parrish himself. He is not a #2 receiver. Euhus is already on the borderline cut or keep list. I do have to agree with you on the cuts except for Moulds. Why people have suddenly turned the junk yard dogs on Moulds is out of my comprehension.
  21. I sat here and watched Soprano say that Sherman would be the next head coach and on the TV i heard that Dick Jauron had just arrived at the Buffalo airport. I think he is reaching way into the bull's @$$ for this information about EM.
  22. Tank Williams is a beast! First off i think he could figure out the cover 2 because the guy went to Stanford. He can hit with the best of them and he seems to always be around the ball. I say we get him, because it comes down to either a guy named Coy or a guy named Tank. I'll take the Tank.
  23. I could see EM in Dallas with Bill Parcells and Drew Bledsoe. If that does happen, the Cowboys will have three out of the four receivers picked in the first round of the 1996 draft. (Keyshawn Johnson, Terry Glenn, Eric Moulds)
  24. Aaron Brooks is not a good quarterback. The only New Orleans player i want up here is LeCharles Bentley. In response to him furthering Losman's development, NO! If anything all Brooks would do is cause an even further regress in Losman's already below average development. I don't want him anywhere around JP Losman, i wouldn't even let his dirty clothes rub up next to Losman's at a laundry mat.
