A Few Thoughts About The Game
BUFFALOTONE replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The defense as a whole did not play that bad. we turned it over 4 times and still only lost by 9. Oh yeah and who chased down Ginn on that 64 yard gain when Whitner was juked out of his cleats? Mitchell was not the problem by any stretch. Our inability to put constant pressure on Pennington was the problem. -
Marshawn and Fred lloked great today. There legs never stop! The screen to Marshawn that was thrown and set up perfect would have went for a chunk of yards. There wasnt anyone there for 20 yards. Plus he had 2 blockers paving the the way. Instead we punt and Ginn gets the 64 yd pass on the 1st play.

why didn't we hammer pennington

yeah lets take our best LB away from the LOS and have him plant the QB lined up as a decoy that would most likely land a 15 yard penalty. You can bump the WR off the line but you cant "annihilate" him for standing there. Unnecessary roughness would surely be called. -
To me it does. I am not busting your balls for the report (thanks for posting it). But in reality we are still tied for 1st in the division and got out played Sunday. Thats doesnt mean Miami is better than Buffalo, that only means they were better yesterday. MIA had their backs against the wall at home. After 2 strait losses they threw everything they had at us and we helped by turning it over 4 times and we still only lost by 9. Just like after the ARI game we are going to see what this team is made of. Now this Jets game takes on a whole new importance. We do NOT want to go 0-2 in the division.

Does any of this really make a difference in the grand scheme of things?

A Few Thoughts About The Game

What did Mitchell do last week? Was a crucial INT on the goal line and a QB pressure which resulted in a fumble and us winning not enough for you. What do you want him to do out there? We turned the ball over and played like sh-t. Plain and simple. Miami lost 2 strait games 1 in a literal last second TD to Houston and an embarrassing loss to Baltimore who had also lost 2 strait if I recall. They were playing their division rivals in a home game and needed a Win. We walked in there ad expected to win thats the difference. We have a long way to go as a team and we will make the playoffs this year. This teams make up is too good to lie down and take it the way we did Sunday. Miami wanted it more than us. Anyone who has ever played a competitive sport could see that. I was at the game and had to hear the sh-t first hand. We scored 16 unanswered points they responded with 18. One more note: Whitner is not the FS answer. Let him roam around the LOS and make big hits and pressure the QB. He looked terrible in center field yesterday. Maybe he underestimated Ginn and Pennington but after 1-2throws and guys getting behind you things have to change and they did not. They found our weakness and exploited it. Like someone before said. We were severely out coached and out played. Bring on the JETS! -

Hows this Bills related? -
Are you parking in Huizengas spot or something? I have never paid more than 20. Then again I have club level seats and a parking pass to go with it.

You gotta have goals. -
Way to bash the guy for asking a simple question. And how the hell would you know they wouldn't go after KW? Its a message board fool no reason to be a d-ck for some one expressing a thought.

Going to the game this sunday in Miami

Nice! How did you score those? -
Or how about the fact that when Lynch is in there he sees 8 in the box plus a run blitz and when Freddie is in they tend to empty out and play the pass. Which is why we run the draw and screen with Freddie.

I should have stated the way Romo throws it. But yes the index is the last finger to leave the ball. But the pinkie is the stability finger for the ball, thats what I meant to say.
-
Jerry Jones is the king of stupid. If he starts his franchise QB who is seriously injured because he tossed him a few balls in practice he should be banned from the side lines. What I found hilarious is one announcer said the decision is not Romo's or Phillip's but Jerry Jones'. Are you fu--ing kidding me? Who does that remind you of?
-
Dude, its a broken finger on his THROWING hand, you played QB right, whats the last finger to leave the ball? There is no way he should play. Start Johnson and run the ball down St. Louis throat. Johnson will get 1st downs when needed, he's no Losman.
-
Good comparison. Qb ing a JV team that runs the ball 90% of the time and an NFL QB who's livelihood depends on his hand, literally. Try throwing a football without using your pinkie. Now try taking a snap from center and having to drop back while LB's and CB's come after you knowing you are severely injured. Romo fumbles way too much as it is and Arizona showed a glaring chink in that OL's armor. This will be one of the worst decisions to play. Any one remember when Favre played when he shouldn't have, just to preserve the streak. He was terrible. I believe he turned it over 4 times when he played with the broken thumb.

he does have some what of a point.

I sat in the 300's on the Miami sideline 2 years ago and it was pretty piss poor. There were a few Dolphin fans who sat there and got abused. I dont know why they stayed they whole game. The yellow shirts must have chucked about 5 people from our section. All Bills fans. To make it worse at half time i go to grab a beer and a kid who couldnt have been more than 13-14 was walking through the crowd wearing a Culpepper jersey until a circle formed around him and started pointing and chanting ASSH@LE. That is classless. period. I live in South Florida and go to the Bills/fins game every year and have never encountered that. I have almost gotten into fights but someone always walks away. And of course there is trash talk. but its some what civil if thats possible.
