Hey whats wrong with center? Any who Simon, I was never a QB but played center for 4 years and I can tell you one thing, the QB has to be a leader. He has to be the toughest guy on the field. He is the guy that the other 10 players are going to lean on when the sh-t hits the fan. As far as fundamentals go, do something that 90% of the coaches never do, teach him to read a Defense. That in itself will make up for any physical shortcoming of any QB. Another is footwork, teach him how to shuffle his feet, also to run with the ball and be ready to throw at anytime. Coaches love that sh-t. He probably already knows how to throw it, but that's not a perfect science. It's like a golf swing it doesn't have to be perfect just work.

I dont blame Whitner. I blame the pick, you ask anyone from that Tampa Bay D why they were so successful and they will tell you we were able to pressure the QBs with their front 4. You can put Whitner, Byrd or Scott where ever you want and it wont make a bit of difference because our front 4 is garbage.

Let's see they are practicing the 4-3 because it gives them a chance to match up better against us in the regular season. My guess is they just realized the preseason games mean pretty much nothing and they are preparing for the regular season where the games do matter.

Wow, unreal. Never happy. Either they aren't emotional enough or too emotional. Yes you are a stick in the mudd. The guy goes stride for stride with probably one of the top 5 fastest WRs in the league and goes up and makes a great play. Shows some emotion to get himself and others going and he gets chastised.

I bike do to knee problems and that's the best exercise for me. My sister has a rowing machine and loves it. The most important thing is to find something that won't bore the sh-t out of you. I like the bike cause I pick where I want to go and how hard to really push myself.

Thats bullsh-t. I know HS and college are different from the NFL but the coaches loved it when we fought. The looks on their faces was like a kid at Christmas. It shows your intensityand that you wont be pushed around by anyone. And I guarantee Wood got an atta boy from the OL vets. Maybe they need to take a page from EW's book. This team has been soft for waaaaay too long.

My 2 cents. WTF is up with Whitner? I know this is the 1st action in a while but the guy needs to be more aggressive at the point of attack. On Whites TD he was in position to make a hit and just stopped. Couple of plays that I saw were very unimpressive. Needs to step up. The O-Line looked pretty good on passing downs but they need to get that run blocking down. We have too much talent in the backfield to be a bad run blocking team. Levitre wasn't too bad but he needs to work in his technique, he is young it will come in time. I watched Walker on the OL mostly and he seemed to hold his own against a pair of good DE's. Guess we will have to wait and see how he progresses. Mitchell looked lost as well out there. I will chalk this up to being the 1st game since last year and leave it at that. Lets hope the next outing goes a lil better. Oh and the pass rush was non existant. Not sure if we didn't blitz that much but my god KC had all day. TEN looked like they were bringing a guy or 2 on every play.

Unless the rules have changed a player can not go to college for 1 year then go pro. He has to wait till his junior year to declare himself for the draft. In baseball.
