Bobby is already gone, why doesn't anyone get this? This has been Fishers team since he got here and no one elses. Tricket is quite possibly the best OL coach in college and they are getting better. He doesn't want fat overweight lineman. That is why a lot of the talent we signed on the Ol can't hack it.

FSU's talent has been unreal. terrible coaching or lack there of has been the achilles heal. Fisher is a good coach but I just do not believe he is the right guy. This is the 1st time since Weinke that we had a semblance of a QB. The OL is young and Trickett has done a great job getting them motivated. FSU's secondary is suspect at best, young and inexperienced and it showed, they were hell bent on making Harris beat them and he did. When pressured you saw how green he is but still made some great plays. Like I said before I would love to see Richt back but I know it wont happen. I just dont feel like Fischer is the right guy.

I agree with a few point here but how is FSU's secondary over rated? Thats the 1st game of the year. Harris played a great game and won, Brady esque? are you fuggin kidding me? The guy throws balloons, every time I saw a ball in the air I thought their was a basket attached to it. FSU's defensive game plan was terrible. When they started to pressure him he was all over the place. I don't know who is supposed to be occupying the middle of the field for FSU but he was MIA tonight. Give the trash bag U credit. They have some unreal talent better then UF I think, and they are very young. Too bad Shannon is a horrible coach. Best move they made was grabbing Whipple to call plays.

I'm sorry but Fisher is not the answer for HC. I love Bobby but we all know he hasn't been coaching this team for a looong time. Since Spurrier was in UF, lets be honest. Bobby's job is to massage the old booster money and walk in to a kids home and make his momma feel good about sending her boy to FSU, a slice of pecan pie later and Bobby has a 5 star athlete. This team has no identity. I love Andrews and am sad to see him leave. Can't imagine the sideline without that pissed off face and constantly spitting. I would live to see them pay Fishers buy out and offer Mark Richt the farm. I loved the offense when he was hear. Pro style the way it should be. I hate this spread garbage. Look at what Kelly has done with Cincy and with worse athletes. Its a simple system that works. FSU has top 10 talent every year. Its time for a change at the top. Who cares if Bobby stands there waiting for something to happen, he has been doing it for years. So has Joe Pa. Not sure if Amato is the answer to take over for Mickey. he is a great recruiter of defensive talent and is responsible for bringing a lot of guys here. When he was at NC state he raided the Miami high schools for talent the way FSU used too. I have been a NOLE from day one and it hurts to see this program the way it is. We are going on the right direction but its taking way too f'n long to get there.

Where FSU lost the game was the repeated 3rd down conversions they kept making. They would make great stops on 1st and 2nd then give up on 3rd, so frustrating.

Agree 100%, the last 30 seconds of the 4th had some serious clock run offs that they never properly re-set the clock. FSU had 1 more crack at it after the incomplete pass. The worse part about it was the game was in Tallahasse. I fuggin hate UM now I have to listen to this for another year. And for the the poster who said Harris is a stud, the guy throws balloons. No arm strength what so ever. The kid played a very smart game, my hat is off to him but a stud QB he is not.

I agree but the one thing he has to his advantage is he has been there form the beginning. Breaking down film, seeing the weakness and strengths. Granted you may be working on 2 separate projects thats have 2 entirely different goals but they have been together from the start and know where they stand. I am not saying you are going to see the early 90's offense but we will see better preparation. For gods sake we have too!

Not for nothing but Hangartner looked great against Hampton. Didn't dominate but held his own on the point of contact. What this line needs is an identity. They need to be nasty, finish blocks when the guy is on the ground no patty cake BS.

When keeping it real goes wrong.

BSU is probably the best coached team in the country and has been for a few years. They do all the right things, play physical, run the ball, run great routes. They do the little things that the premodona recruits dont do. This team will give any program a run for their money. The WAC puts out some great players. OU looked absolutely lost out there. That RB Blount was a stud last year and he looked terrible. Indecisive, didn't fight for yards, ran right into the back of the OL. He wrapped up his career with 1 punch. See ya D-bag.

The problem I see is on the right side of the line. Hangartner did a great job on Hampton and Walker played great against probably one of the best DE's in Harrison. The right side got no real push on running plays but Pitt brings at least 1-2 guys every play besides a 3rd and long. Trent has to start being more decisive, it doesn't matter how much time he has. He is gun shy, once a QB loses his balls its over with.

I think first and foremost you have to pressure Brady and bump the WRs at the line. We saw what the Giants aggressive game plan did to there offensive scheme and that set the tone for NY to grind the game to their pace. Granted NY had some great bounces and took advantage of them. Come at Brady from all angles. That knee may be healed but he is thinking about it and if we put his azz on the grass a few times it will start to get to him. That D is aging but is still very good, keep them on the field as long as possible. They have youth and veterans in the right place but they can be exploited. Turk has to find the soft spots and TE has to execute. This kid needs to get some swagger and fast.

Washington is a good guy. Ran into him years ago in downtown FTL and we got hammered together. Down to earth guy. Always hurt though. As for Brady there is a reason why he is a leader and a Captain. Trent takes his WRs to Dave n Busters while they break down film.

Lets keep drafting DB's then. Makes sense. This past draft seems like they addressed some serious needs but lets see how the talent part shakes out.

Hey whats wrong with center? Any who Simon, I was never a QB but played center for 4 years and I can tell you one thing, the QB has to be a leader. He has to be the toughest guy on the field. He is the guy that the other 10 players are going to lean on when the sh-t hits the fan. As far as fundamentals go, do something that 90% of the coaches never do, teach him to read a Defense. That in itself will make up for any physical shortcoming of any QB. Another is footwork, teach him how to shuffle his feet, also to run with the ball and be ready to throw at anytime. Coaches love that sh-t. He probably already knows how to throw it, but that's not a perfect science. It's like a golf swing it doesn't have to be perfect just work.
