  1. So Te'o was a bellhop? Crazy stuff.
  2. And now it comes back to me. Ugh. There were some moments in that season and the next where we had moments when, if you looked square into the sun and then back at the team, they almost resembled a good team.
  3. Keep it up and the mods will have to create a separate board for that stuff too.
  4. Video has surfaced of Lee and Sanchez and some of the unorthodox methods he will use to straighten him out. http://youtu.be/5c_onhzgvcY
  5. Kicking or kneeing an opponent is prohibited by all players (even Tom Brady) and punishable by a loss of 15 yards. http://static.nfl.com/static/content/public/image/rulebook/pdfs/15_2012_Player_Conduct.pdf Article 11 (found on page 8 of the link)
  6. Bob Kraft is going to have Les Moonves fire Shannon Sharpe. And his brother.
  7. Sad thing is it will be age and retirements that will allow the Bills to catch the Pats, and nothing that we will have done over the past decade plus. Even if we turn it around in '13, we will never have really gone toe to toe with Bellisith and Brady when they were in their prime, never kicked them in the teeth (certainly not while lying on the turf having just completed a QB slide). Just imagine if the Bills could have given us a Kelly/Marino type of rivalry with the Pats. Instead, we are kinda waiting for them to call it quits so we can play.
  8. Didn't someone here say Lee Evans was at one of the games this year in Buffalo, as a fan? Just hanging out in the stands? Or was that some other player? Edit: Yep: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/152741-lee-evans-back-in-buffalo/page__hl__evans
  9. I believe it's Samoan, a traditional curse: "May all your girlfriends be hoaxes." Roughly.
  10. I get this question coming from another fan, actually. But not in seriousness, or not from a FAN. More like a jab from fan to fan. "Dude, why do you even bother with that team?" (Luckily, everyone around me is a Browns fan, and has no room to talk.) But a player ought to know better. It's our irrational commitment to this team (and the same situation played out around the country) that makes his job possible, and well-compensated (and taxpayer supported). If fans weren't fans beyond any sensible reason, then that guy would be playing for the Canton Bulldogs on a field shared with high school teams and circus elephants. kj
  11. I think Dog Fish and Southern Tier have just about figured the IPA out. Which is more than anyone should claim about Te'o and his girlfriend. And it strikes me that almost the entire board can spell his name correctly, including that stray apostrophe, but we have people here who think that there are players on the Bills named Kelsey, Marcel Darius, Jarius, McGhee, and Troupe. kj
  12. Doesn't that also lower the 'price' on trading up? I would think saying 'we are not trading out of this spot unless someone wants to pull a Ditka/Ricky Williams type of trade' would at least start the offers at the Herschel Walker level. kj
  13. I think the jumbotrons probably have more value as sponsorship and ad revenue opportunities, even if the team talks about upgrading the 'fan experience'.
  14. I don't care what kind of bodies they show in the renderings, but the structural engineers better pick the right ones for their modeling.
  15. You know what's missing, a good spot to display the Lombardi trophy! kj
  16. You got nothing to worry about, you'll be a Bill come April. Haven't you seen all the mock drafts? kj
  17. That is just fantastic
  18. Because they couldn't monetize something that lasts only 4 seconds.
  19. Nice work, really. Any way to get to configure and/or program that greenspace so that it is a destination on more than just 11 Sundays* a year? * 11 Sundays= 2 preseason games, 7 regular season games (-1 for Toronto), and 2 playoff games!
  20. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2013/1/14/3875652/danny-crossman-buffalo-bills-special-teams-coach 6 years as ST coach in Detroit. Former teammate of Marrone, and served together as coaches. Detroit News is reporting that he asked out of his contract to join the Bills.
  21. Didn't you answer your own question here? Young had 325 yds passing and 49 on the ground against the Chargers in one of the most boring Super Bowls in my memory. Not a great running game that day (good, not great), but he was a great running QB as you say. kj
  22. CHUD? http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0087015/
  23. I would also limit the range of responses, from 1 to 5. 1 for strongly negative, 2 for somewhat negative, 3 for neutral, you get the rest. Honestly, I have trouble conceptualizing the difference between a 3 and 4 in these types of things.
  24. I disagree (respectfully, of course). Having regular or periodic polls gives a baseline for measurement. Let's say there is a poll done your way, when Kelsay is cut and then eight weeks later Fitz is cut. Or one of our key players asks out of his contract, and then some weeks later, Russ Brandon is seen taking pictures of the LA Coliseum. I think those responses as triggers for the polls would almost answer themselves, whereas it would be good to measure poll responses immediately after those events against poll responses when nothing is going on (so do the regular polling regardless of what goes on). kj
